P 90 X
Does anybody know if you can do this P90X workout in the gym or do you have to be at home? Reason I ask is because I live in a apartment and have no room to do the thing here.
Let me know if you know a way to do it.
Thanks.

Not 100 percent sure, but one thing I am sure of is the fact that everything they do requires space and I think some weights, which both are available at your neighborhood gym.

My brother in law did P90X in his apartment. He lives in New York City (small one bedroom apartment) and like you in 6' 5". All you need for the resistance routines are either dumbells or bands. I recommend adjustable dumbells. Plus a pull up bar (I've heard the iron gyms are OK for the money).
OK, that's three of the seven days. For the other four you have Yoga & streching which take up no room. Kenpo doesn't take up much either. Plyo will have you running and jumping all over the place and that might be tough in an apartment.
here's a link to see the entire Plyo routine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm8zIT1SXDA
I did the Plyo routine in a gym once. I took my portable DVD player and people looked at me like I was crazy. I've heard that some people put the DVDs on their computer and transfer the videos to their iPods. Personally I prefer doing the routines along with the DVDs. If you go to a gym make sure it's empty or have plenty of dumbells because you'll find that you'll be alternatining between 2-3 different weights for about 45 minutes.

P90X in the Gym
For a little while i just took in the P90X tracking sheets to the gym. Although, it is worth while to watch the dvd's while you workout so you have some people to compete with. But if you are going to do them at home get the pull up bar and push up stands from beachbody.com. They are super nice quality and the prices are not that bad. (Pull Up $49.95, Stands $19.95)

Another option would be the book Never Gymless, which you can get from Rosstraining.com. It's cheaper than p90x, and you can do it with no equipment, or very basic cheap equipment that will fit in your apartment. I really liked using what I learned in the book to keep in shape between gyms, and I built a lot of functional strength and conditioning.
For me, I would rather workout in a gym, just because at home there are to many distractions, that and I don't want my downstairs neighbors to have to listen to me banging around working out above them. Being in the gym you can meet people, you have access to more equipment (though you can do p90x, Never Gymless, etc) and you're swetting, showering, and throwing heavy objects around on their stuff not yours.

Thanks to you all for answering my question. Lots of good ideas and information for me to work with. Luckilly, I am on the bottom floor of the apartments so I wont kill my neighbors ears. Again, Thank you

One more thing. I've seen some guys download P90 onto their ipods/zunes and bring it to the gym with them. Some of them use an empty racquetball court at times.

You need enough height to do a jumping jack and a room wide enough to do 2 lunges......that's it. To each his own though. I find that I can concentrate better at home than at a gym, so for me, I'm a homeboy.
