Allergic Reaction? Can whey go bad??!?

I had purchased a whey protein, Body Fortress Advanced Whey. First I bought milk chocolate flavor, had a few shakes but let my husband take it with him to his rig. Tasted decent, had no adverse side effects. I then bought the strawberry flavor. I used it with soy milk and immediately I was nauseous and dizzy for the entire day and felt sick up until I finally fell asleep. I wondered if it were the soy and the next day I used it with water. I got the same exact response. So I am curious. I did not feel this way with the chocolate mix, but now with a different flavor I am from it. What gives? Any ideas would.
