Question about national newspaper...
Can anyone answer this question: If you want to join and your stuck in Afghanistan, can you use the US paper "Stars & Stripes" instead of a USA Today?

Curt James:
Dude, izzat it? Those are your befores? Because, hey, I can totally see the date on that newspaper.
Quote:
(e) one (1) of the Before Pictures and one (1) of the After Pictures must show you holding a national newspaper with the date clearly visible
And, you know, there's this:
Quote:
take your Before photos as per the "Requirements for Pictures" section (below) and post them on your BodySpace profile (in the Progress Photos section).
Your Progress Photos section? Not so much.
:-(
Get crackin!
See Big Daddy's entry (in this thread) and Progress Photos section as one example of someone who's done it right.
I added another picture with the paper. i could only add 8 pictures so i didnt put that one on there. i have like 12 or so. and the progress pics i do have up. u cant see them because there is only one date. people cant see them if there is only one date so once i add more or my after ones they will show up on there.

For those who posted progress pics and it is not rerflecting on the profile:
The reason why it doesnt show is because, you need to have at least another pic with an different date.
Example: My progress pics do not show on my bodybpsace even though I uploaded them and posted them. All of them were taken and show the date of Jan 1st 2009. But if I take another progress picture today (Jan 3rd, 2009) and posted in my progress pic, then it will show
Watch...Im going to include a pic that was taken Dec 23rd 2008......walla youll see my progress pics
You just have to include pics that have different dates on your progress pics in order for them to show

A little secret!
If you folks want to see your pictures in the progress section when is not showing in your profile, here is how to:
1. Go to the individual's or your profile
2. Copy and paste this at the end of the address: more.php?section=progresspics
3. Happy Picture Hunting!!!
You do have to be on the main profile so the address would look something like this: http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/ACE1980/more.php?section=progresspics
(Basically replace the ACE1980 with your or someone elses user name and no dashes. I put those there so )
Don't ask me how I know that, I'm just a genious!!!

Transformation contest
I am 48 years old, and as I get older I wish I had started lifting weights at an younger age, I was in the Army for 12 years and did cardio lots of running average six miles a day to stay fit plus the basic situp pushup routine.
I took a job that put me on the road six days a week and no time to eat right and my life style and eating habits started to show on my body, the fat stomach, man breast. So I decided I had enough of getting in bad shape and started working out, after six months I was hooked and still am after four years, The only draw back is my age, if I dont watch my form I end up getting hurt and have to wait for the injury to heal. so this has been a learning experince, I read anything I can get my hands on from eating the correct foods , supplements, to body building. This is my life style now.
My goal is to enter a amature body building contest by age 50. I would also like to become a ceritfied trainer.

Just got back from another great workout!
So as I was finishing up my workout with some HIIT incline sprints I was thinking in between huffing and puffing and on the verge of puking that I am going to do progression pictures every 2 weeks until the final. How about that for a run on sentence! LOL
Anyway.. I am very excited about this contest and looking forward to seeing everyone elses transformations as well.
Here is something I got in an email... may it give you motivation to not just change your body but your whole image for 2009! I know I can not EVER have another 2008 again in my life! I lost so much.. but this year I am going to gain everything I lost and then some! And make a few new friends along the way!
"My Wish for You in 2009"
May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 dollar bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had ,forget your home address! In simple words ............
Make 2009 be the best year of your life!!!
Peace,
Tim

Attention Ladies!!
I just received an email back from Richard and Hydroxycut Max! cannot be used as an MT product for the $50,000 challenge. So if you want to compete in both, you will need to purchase an official MT product from the MT product page. Nitro-Tech is a good option!
Good luck!

A large image is better than "postage stamps." MuscleTech can't see anything or use those before pics at a tiny 100 x 100 pixels would be my guess.
Photobucket.com has editing tools to crop and re-size your photos. I'm not spamming for that site. It is just one that I use. No connection there other than that.
The site used by iliveinjersey also works. Check his post.

You can post again. That's what I did last year. I posted eight pics in one post and then just posted an additional time to show the next batch of pics.
Post one of the pics again in your profile using a different date? That would work to make them appear now. I guess that's not necessary.

Definitely. Use that paper. That would be public relations suicide for MuscleTech to disqualify its use.
MuscleTech Says "STARS & STRIPES" No Good!
It would be nice if someone from MuscleTech would advise, of course.

I use the halo and like it pretty good. Seen pretty good results when i was at the gym regular. I used it along with the Vapor bought them as the stack. really like the results from using both.

All signed up! Going to post my photos later this evening.
As far as the photos are concerned, if I take my before photos in front of my front door, do I need to take the after photos in front of my front door as well? How is "same lighting and background" to be interpreted?
Thanks for everyone input and Good Luck!

The Contest
Aside from the money that is being offered as the prize for the contest, I would love to see my body be transformed. I will be working hard to make sure that I am continuing my progress. I will also be working hard to be the winner of this contest.
