One good thing about being on deployment is that you don't have to roll up your sleeves, it is the most stupid f'ing uniform rule in garrison ever and god knows we have lots of them.

do you like or dislike rolling up sleeves?
i'd imagine it would be more comfortable rolling them up.

Don't like it, its bootcampish. And I hate stupid comments like "nice job on your sleeves". I'm a lazy man too and dont like putting in the effort to tear them off my arms because its all bunched up at the bicep

So went to the office today and handed over birth certificate, DL, diploma, AA degree, and transcripts. Excited man! MEPS Monday and Tuesday ( not excited ), then hopefully I'll have some sort of idea of when I'm leaving. It's funny my recruiter was late to the office to document my tattoos because he was at the tattoo shop, getting a tattoo...

Actually I find Deserts to just flat out look better. Rolled sleeves also help out a lot in a humid climate. Don't like long sleeved things irritating my wrists either.

i was a rebel...i got a tattoo on my forearm, exactly 35 days after the new maradmin came out.
i always did everything that wasn't normal. nothing said anything about skivvy shirts under blouses, so for a month i didn't wear a skivvy shirt. nothing says anything about hand in your pockets in 2007 (now it does) and i did just that. my cammies were faded. never specifically stated what was or wasn't unserviceable in that respect. i wore a v-neck t-shirt in service charlies and dress blue deltas or none at all.

Oh, I guess it can be that. It works the other way for me though. The uniform of the day would change throughout the week for my old command. I dont know anything about the new Commandant though.

I have an EGA on both my calves, both shoulders, a giant one on my back, and one on each pec. Next month, I'll be getting half an EGA on each hand, so that when I put them together they form a whole EGA. I'm stoked.

Hey brah, wanna get half an EGA on your thigh? I'll get half on my thigh so that if we rub against each others thighs it will create a whole EGA. It'll be like rubbing sticks together to start a flame.
