Just sharing 'cause he's my favorite. I also like the worship team of Lakewood. Great musicality. If you're from Australia, you should've known Hillsong. They're simply annointed worship leaders that sweep the word with their music.

Anybody here train in or around Lexington, SC. I'm coming back from Afghanistan sometime in September hopefully and was wondering about any good gyms and maybe even getting a workout partner. Thanks for the help.

I think most of us know Hillsong. At least 95% of the churches here in NYC know them, I think...they are pretty big in terms of popularity in Praise&Worship music (as well as Hillsong United for the younger scene)

just a quick note from someone in Iraq who needed to be taken away from all that he held close to his heart to find out where his true strength was. as soon as all the comforts of family were gone, i realized that i've been missing a major part of my life - praise and worship.
didn't take long for me to realize where to find the comfort and strength when i was at my weakest.
you all keep doing what you're doing, God bless you all, and thanks for staying strong!
Though my circumstances weren't nearly as dire as yours are at the moment, I too had to be far away from all that I loved before I realized what a big hole I had in my life.
Here's wishing you - and anyone else far from home, whether literally or figuratively - a safe return.

Duane, thanks for prodding the Christians on this site to band together to share and support each other. We are mighty in our strength when we band together. The quote, I can do all things in Christ is balanced very nicely with John 5:30 when Christ prays to His Father, "Of myself I can do nothing". He knows full well that we are a creation of our Heavenly Father and without Him we would not be. Every breath we take comes from Him. It is a joy that we can do all things in Him for His glory and honor.
I am doing prison ministry at the present and use the book WILD AT HEART by John Eldredge to take the men on the masculine journey. Awesome change in their hearts as they go through the book. There are also camps to experience the wild in our hearts. Horseback riding, mountain climbing, zip lines, etc. to keep us on our adventure and get us ready to battle the forces of evil that hit us up each day.
