you know dont I get it, I am mostly respectful to everyone here, and DD no exception, but in the last few threads i saw, all he did was whine and bitch, when the point is its an internet forum and smart people who care should be able to cipher through the BS and get some real good advice from those who know... to me it just got really pathetic and as i called it in the soap opera thread, HE WAS GOING TO LEAVE... why should everyone have to come in and offer condolences to him like he died, he simply started taking himself too seriously and when he couldn't delete all the threads he didnt like and every converstation wasnt a mutual mouth party to the others training style he got pissy and left the party, only to probably lurk and check back everyday just to see what commotion he sprung up... i feel negs were not deserved i didnt troll his threads i didnt start a malicious fight with anyone, i had an opinion is all and i wanted to share it. I dont post as often here but i read a good deal, i have read DD's threads and enjoyed many of them and took some advice (the side shoulder presses in particular, great). i apologize to those who think i just wantedto flame him, thats not it at all, DD just took a situation that had nothing to do with exercise, made a huge deal of itand frankly it got boring.

I've seen a lot of "I'm leaving" threads over the years. They are ploys for attention.

If you want to leave, just leave....right?
Exactly why all the fan fare drama? Leaving a message board isn't exactly Earth shattering news. Just go.
It's like telling people you are going to commit suicide. Just do it if that's your intention. Otherwise it looks like a desperate ploy for help and/or attention.

that's funny because he did that the last time he "left"
and even created other accounts to talk ****. haha
If that's true and can be proven why is he a mod? Those kind of ploys are exactly what trolls do.

The point was that he was unhappy with the site and its ownership.
I'll miss DD.
It's ashame. DiamondDelts in a brilliant poster. He has "much much" to offer.

Some say they want to make a difference, but I suspect it's more about getting power and admiration.
As soon as they see the other side of the coin....the glitter and glamor wear off. They take on a "job" and don't get paid for it. They are volunteer pawns in bb.com's money making machinery. I suspect that's why many of them don't post on a regular basis and get fed up with it.

However, moderators in general need to refrain from investing emotionally in what is posted in the forum. While it can help make a moderator effective, it's a double edge sword that can lead to insanity.
I don't have an opinion on 'DD' , because I didn't converse with him much. Only the odd discussion (or argument) here or there.

i agree, But isnt that the goal of every buisness, to drive up the profits with as liitle expenditures as possible. Can you blame them for not paying mods, its like doesanyone have any idea the amount of time it would take a group to read every thread and act on it, it would be impossible with that numbe and besides how much do you want to pay them? I could maybe see giving them a discount in the store, but then still someone would have to oversee the mods and make sure they are dong what they need to, it would just be a huge job for something that regulates itself ok with volunteers, could it be better, of course, but I dont think its worth the dog and pony show some put one at certain times.
Thanks for all those tips with shoulder exercises! My shoulders have grown and developed much better do your help. Good luck with your future endeavors.

Well another one from the old days is gone. Pretty soon the only active posters in the section will be from 2006+.
DD
Shruggin
Darklight
DBCB
Spytech
AQUA
$AJ
and many others gone. Starting to not even recognize this place anymore.
Later DD. Thanks for the advice to a newb a few years ago
Hey bro. I'm still around but i don't visit as often as I used to. I'm not really aware of the forum politics and all but I seriously miss the old members/regs. They've been immensely helpful to me (DD included of course). Most of my gains I would attribute to them. =)

Why do you think the old stories tell of men who set out on great journeys to impress the gods? Because trying to impress people just isn't worth the time and effort.

DD's posts are actually worth reading, as opposed to a lot of the mod team. That said, DD doesn't belong here - he should be modding at a more respectable site. BB.com is a den of misinformation and company rep trolls and half the mod team are immature nuthuggers at best.
De Luca doesn't even lift, he wants profits and profits alone. That's why this place is a ****hole. Top down baby

Blow your last negs on some USP reps for us all
If it's so awful here why do you post here? Just leave and be done with it.

With 358 posts since 2005 I hardly think your comment makes much sense This place is a dumpster, me posting here once in a blue moon doesn't change that fact.

^ Very true. On another forum, I always helped out in some sections. They were short staffed, and volunteered to be a mod. Very quickly things grew tiring, and all of the petty bickering, and having to read through pages of posts to see who started the fight and who deserves time outs, etc. It quickly became a job and was no longer fun. I hardly ever log into that web board anymore. :/
