Anything that isn't along the same lines as the product they are sponsoring; so you should be fine I am taking at least 8 other supps, and plan to log what and when I take them in my blog.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I didn't even realize they might not include us
Glad we can do it though. So excited to start.

I've looked in the Jan 09 issue of Oxygen and read online at the contest website and I can't seem to find anything saying we can't enter both. That would be a real incentive b/c the grand prize on this one is 100,000. Even the runners up get 2000. But before I send in my info I want to double check just to be sure if its ok to enter both. Does anyone else know?

No group blog this time, we're going to stick to this forum thread this time around. (Easier for most people than the blogs.)

Yes, she can enter both contests.
But note, the rules are different. They are two different contests,
independently operated, so she'll have to fulfill and comply with the
rules of each contest separately. Entering one contest doesn't
automatically enter you into the other contest. They're totally
different.
Thanks Richard.

Whoo-hoo! So just remember to read/follow both sets of rules and we'll be great! The one in Oxygen doesn't end until June... I think..

Yes I am sure you can; I don't intend to actually start until January 2nd, I have played this game before and anything longer than about 12 weeks, for me anyway, leads to mental and physical breakdown; especially when I stick to it spot on perfect like I intend to do this one. so I may take my before pics (make them as bad as possible, lol) this coming week, but I won't start the ridged routine until right after the holidays, don't want to set myself up for failure through temptation.
also, very interesting about that other contest in Oxygen; may have to check that out...
MuscleTech held a $10,000K transformation last year and I personally know the guy who won, he was a bodybuilder on my team and was a friend; so I know they pay out, quite fast too.
btw.. all his money was gone in a month!

Well, I doubt if every contestant will actually do a log; most will probably just post before photos and after photos with the essay, like last time. However, those who wish to post more are, of course, welcome to do so in here. Or, if you *are* going to do a day-by-day log, you can start a new log elsewhere and then just link to it from here. Either way.

Here's that one: http://www.hydroxycutmax.com/challenge/index.html
It starts 1/1 and goes all the way till June, no decisions made til July. Difference with that is it's not online and you just send in your package after you're done.

You can enter both the Hydroxycut Max challenges, but I doubt you could enter anything else at the same time. Reason being is the whole point is to use that one supplement. If you're on another supplement that is very similar to another one, then there's no saying which supplement helped you out better. It's all an advertising campaign and the point is to say "I did this with Hydroxycut Max"

Question - are we required to take 3 pills twice a day? It says used as directed, but I'm thinking that would be too much to start. Especially if 3 pills is the equivalent caffiene of 3 cups of coffee, that's a little much

rdidio was talking to me about this. I think I am going to do the same thing- work hard for 12 weeks and take the pills. Until then I am just going to eat clean. Oh and is it unfair to eat a HUGE pizza the night I take my before pics! Lol!

You can start anytime between 12/15 and 2/28. Your campaign has to last for at least 8 weeks. Submissions must be in by 4/30. So if you wanted to, you could start 12/15 and end on 4/30.

with this contest you have to buy your supplements from bb.com, but what about the other? from the website it looks like GNC may be involved and I would think they would want you to buy from them? AAAHHH so many questions!!!

That's a good question! Is GNC the sponsor?

Yeah I don't know about the GNC thing. It doesn't say anything about where you should get your supps for that one, so maybe it doesn't matter?
