My body doesnt sweat anymore! Whats up?!?
I have never been the type of person to sweat a ton, but lately I hardly sweat at all! and my work outs have not gotten easier, in fact they are more intense. I will even run on a tread mill with a hooded sweatshirt at speeds from 6mph-8mph for ten min. and barely sweat! Is there any reason why this could be happening? Suppliments I may be taking??

Do you feel physically *spent* after your workout? Maybe you just need to push yourself a lot harder than usual!

Yea I normally do....I mean Im running much harder and faster than normal, and I rest between sets but only for 30-45 sec. I used to sweat more, and that was when my workouts were probably less intense too!

no sweat
Yeah I jog around 2 miles and it's light perspiration. My theory is the more your body adjusts/adapts to the workout the less need for the sweat glands to activate. Just keep pushing, and might I recall since it's winter you'll obviously sweat less due the environment.

Are you dehydrated at all? How're your salt and potassium intake?
Don't wanna scare you, but any history of thyroid problems in you or family?

Hmm... and what about thyroid?
It's probably just that your body has gotten better at it's internal cooling methods given the climate change. Minnesota especially must be freezing right now.

Come down to Miami Beach. I bet you'll be sweating pretty quickly!!
Seriously though, you're probably fine. Your body is adapting and becoming more efficient at taking the work.

So you don't sweat everywhere, or is it just one area that doesn't sweat?
If it's your whole body, you've probably just become fitter. Up the intensity of your workouts. If it's just a patch that doesn't sweat this is more likely to be a neurological problem.

its the whole body. The intensity of my work out has been increased. And like I mentioned even when I wear a thick sweatshirt I will sweat, but it doesnt seem to be as much. I take a TON of suppliments, some new. so maybe that has somthing to do with it? Heres what I take daily
min of 100gr protein
2-3 1000mg CLA
4-8 1000mg Anti-Catabolic HMB
Am/Pm formula multi vitamin
10-20 gr Glutamine (post work out)
Creatine, arganine, Caffine mix (pre work out)

i see nothin out of the ordinary there. unless you have a thyroid issue, which you haven't answered, i'm guessing it's your body adapting to the weather and your intensity.

basic exercise physiology...
As your fitness level increases you sweat MORE. Kinda counterintuitive, no? The reasoning is that sweating is a good thing, it lowers core temperature. If you release more sweat you can do work out longer and harder. Look at all those professional athletes that get drenched within minutes of physical activity.
The reason you aren't sweating could be that you lost fat, (thus less insulation and less of a rise in core body T when you work out). It could be that the weather or gym is colder than it used to be, or it could be a problem with you.
I seriously doubt what you're taking would have any effect.

Test it
If you wanna test it, jump in a sauna. Process of elimination right? Make sure your body is still adequatley cooling itself. I understand that body can adjust to hard and heavy workouts, but at some point the body should attempt to regulate its own temperature. Another question is, and i know it is pretty out there but...do you get spray on tanning? I know that stuff can clog pores and prevent a good sweat. Good Luck with everything.

You have gotten more conditioned. I lift for 2 hours and don't sweat a bit. If you punch your treadmill up to 10 you'll sweat for a few months, then hopefully condition to that as well.

I'm sorry but your basic exercise physiology is wrong. The fitter you get, the slower your core temperature rises during exercise and so the less you sweat.

My water intake has increased. I quit drinking pop, and stick to water...again about 5+ 16 ox bottles a day. Plus my pre/post work out mixes and all protein shakes are mixed with water.
During my lifting I could try more "circuit training" and shorter rest time, or supersets, but I dont know if thats going to be the best since I try to lift heavy with low reps....I kinda need that resting time....
I do not do the spray on tanning.
I have been running with a hoody, and trying to run longer, but I dont want to run too much...and I have noticed some increase in perspiration then, but still not what it was.
I will try the sauna idea...good thinking. I think the gym has gotten colder, obviously due to the outside weather being so freaking cold.
Haven't had a blood test yet on the thyroid deal. Overall I know my body has changed in its "habits" the sweating, and my appetite seems to decrease the more lifting I do. Which is kinda odd too, but I do try to consume more and more protein (mostly in protein shakes)

Well what I CAN tell you is that you'd better become one of those guys that brings a gallon jug of water to the gym to replace those fluids.
