What do you guys think of P90x for cutting up?

I am trying to loose a few pounds while becoming more defined. What do you think of P90x as a workout routine?

There was a guy that posted some 12 month progress pictures in the photo section that was using this. He swore by it, and his pictures backed him up. I don't remember his username but if you search in that section you'll find him, he was very willing to give testimonials about the program.

Thumbs up Go for it!

I've heard good things but don't know if such posters were trolls/spammers or legit. Give it a try and see how you like it. Remember, losing fat is very simple. You simply have to create a healthy level of caloric deficit each day. The program need not be fancy. Track your cals for a week to discover your maintenance number and reduce by 10% or so, adjusting accordingly as you lose weight. Keep lifting heavy to hold on to that hard earned muscle while losing fat lbs.

I went from 245 to 179 in 6 months by adhering to the eating plan above. I simply lifted heavy weights (compounds) 3x a week and did cardio 3x a week for 30 mins.

Good luck! The pain is so worth the pay off. I went from 44 pants to 33 reg fit Levis! Loving it!

I've done several rounds of it and it is definitely a good program. The first round I was very strict with the exercises and the diet and got very good results. Now when I do it, I'm not so strict on the diet part (I'm never going to be an underwear model). The fitness part is VERY good and after a round, you'll really feel like you have a lot of energy and stamina.

What I normally do is 90 day of P90X and then 90 days of a personal routine. I also mix the cardio videos in with my personal routine as well.
