Training but gaining weight!
Hi girls! Years ago i did a high protein diet, mainly weight trained and light cardio. i went from 180lbs to 150lbs, looked and felt great! im back to 180lbs again because im at college and im trying to get down to atleast 168lbs by the end of may. thats 2lbs a week. iv been training all parts of body once a week, im eating small, proteins meals an snacks every few hours and i also have a whey protein shake after training. i drink plenty of water an do not drink alcohol.
..i started 2 weeks ago at 179lbs..and now im 183lbs. i measured myself and i have lost 2.5inches..but i dont really want my weight to increase...will it carry on getting higher or will it start to decrease at some point? i felt slightly better than when i started but im not sure if im doing something wrong.
can anyone give me some advice please? or tips? thanks x

Re: How To Lose Weight; FOREVER!
Speed walking morning and night, Eating carefully, Resting properly. Most likely picking the best times to go working out in the daytime.

good post. Also make note that everyone is different so different foods might work for you. Train hard, eat well and live well. Make fitness a part of your life not an add-on

A quick question about the book.
I'm diabetic, celiac... and am being tested for lactose intolerance (lucky, huh?) and I'm shopping about for a diet I can medically work with.
Does the program have steady regular carbs or is it one where you need to swing back and forth (which I can't do)?

Tishalicious, my mother's diabetic and follows something along the lines of the Medditeranean diet. Not sure how that works with working out, but you could try eyeballing it. It seems to work for her, and since we generally keep the pantry and fridge stocked per her diet and not ours, there's not much difference in what I take in versus what she takes in. I think I just eat more proteins and fats... She has a lot of fibrous carbs... salad, mostly.

Mega Launch
Dear Ladies
I have formulated the world's most advanced & only complete nutritional system ever. It's a DIY general regimen ie you don't have to buy any supplements, pills or meal-replacement sh** from me or anybody else to implement it. It's very much suited for weight loss. I lost 6 kgs in 3 weeks even though i didn't wanted to. If anybody is game for this then just PM me by 20th March - I'll make a special one-off time-limited offer.
Happy fat-shedding in any case.

frustrated!!
Hi! I just would like some advice and maybe some encouragement. My goal is weight lose plus toning. I have been on my food plan for 3 1/2 mths. now. NO alcohol, and exercising. Recently I started circuit training 3 days a week and cardio and abs 2 days a week. The reason I'm so upset is at first I lost 6 pounds and now I weighed myself at the gym today and I gained back 4 pounds. The pounds have been coming back on a pound at a time. So, I have been working my butt off and only lost 2 pounds. My husband is no help because he tells me to stop weighing myself and just go by how I feel. YEah Right!! He is a bodybuilder and wants to gain weight so that's fine for him not me. Any help would be great! I'm 32 and weigh NOW 149 and 5'4" I want to lose 30 lbs.

Been doing fitness and dieting since February. There is not a bit of difference on my weight. I do the 6 meals a day and 6 times a wk cardio and weight. I see some definition on my body but not a bit of difference on my body fat or on my weight. Any suggestion for me? I might just give up.

Eat a small balanced meal consisting of a complete protein and carbohydate every three hours.
Don't shun fat. Essential fat is necessary for fat loss.
Omit processed food, including dairy and bread.
Implement carb-rotation.
Drink filtered water, up to a gallon a day.
Include cardio and progress it weekly to ensure you are not falling into cardio adaption.
Vary your forms and intensity of cardio.
Include resistance training to build lean muscle mass, which increases your BMR.
Train one body part a week. Hitting each body part with approximately three exercises in the 4-12 rep range.
Keep training under an hour.
Supplement with a good multi-vitamin/mineral complex and glutamine.
Allow the body to rest.

I totally understand. I have been working out for the last year and lost 25lbs. But for the last 3 months my weight has not changed. What's the deal?

Cardio
I agree with you. I kept my cardio at 20 min max and tried only to beat my distance over time. It is really challenging.
I love the food you have here!

Cutting Dairy?
You mention cutting out dairy - is this a sugesstion for the short term? I thought dairy was helpful with weight loss.. What is your take on high fiber cereal (every morning - since it is processed as well)?
Thank you!

You said no bread.
I only eat organic sprouted bread. It is gluten free.
Is that ok?
