Lose Fat First? or Bulk?
Hey guys!! Wondering if anyone could help? I weigh 210Ibs, My BF (Not Sure Exactly) but would say it's high 20's. . . . .My goal is simply to gain muscle & get that ripped look!! I'm not sure if I should do cardio on an empty tank in the morning & my weight sessions later in the day or should I just concentrate totally on Cardio bringing my BF down to where I'm happy, & then bulk clean & lift hard?. I'm a former Professional Soccer player (10yr ago now) My BF was 7% then but not a whole lot of muscle, just skinny lol, I've left myself go badly & need the life change. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
Tnx.

I know its not what you want to hear but trust me. Lose the fat first then bulk from there.

depends on your goal. if you plan on getting huge long term and dont mind the fat just continue with your diet and lift heavy.
If you just want to look aesthetically pleasing, lose the fat first.

Concentrate on cutting:
HIIT on tradmill plus Circuit Trainning (wheights 10-15 reps / set resting 15 seconds between sets - coumpound exercises)
Cycle carbs.
That's it!
When you get to 15% start heavy lifting but keep the cardio.

I wouldn't do reps in the rang of 10-15, still hit them hard 5-8reps...

If your diet is in check then you can do the cardio in the morning and do your weights in the afternoon. I always workout better in the afternoon. Also, only if your worried about strength do you have to worry about your reps. When you go into the gym, just feel the pump in your muscles. So, if it only takes 4-8 heavy reps or 12-15 lighter reps, you will still see a difference. Diet is the key.
