So I got a bike for cardio .. sick of running I'm fairly heavy ~95kg but the bike holds me pretty well
Only problem is the seat .. DAMN it hurts my ass bones, its almost impossible to ride it
Any tips? I've got a gel cover but it didnt help too much Still digs in the bone
I'm not a spinner but my mother has done it for a very long time and what worked for her is buying a pair of specialty capri's that are made for spinning which have padding in the seat of the pants. I will see if I can get info from her on where she bought them.

do as much of your workout as you can standing up on the pedals? head to a sporting goods store and get "sliding shorts" made for baseball but they should help in your situation too i would think.

I have biked for years... every time I take some time off, I learn this lesson: suck it up for the first 3-4 times and the pain starts to go away. I don't think changing saddles on the spin bikes are that easy. Oh, one more tip I forgot, buy some cycling shorts (or triathlon shorts if cycling shorts seem too bulky), they make a TON of difference... happy cycling

I have a lifecycle and the seat isn't doesn't have a gooseneck like regular bicycles. It's welded to a post. No changing seats here. Thankfully it's pretty comfy.
