Does your gym have a great vibe?!
Like when your lifting there are other people in the gym pumpin' you up? And everyone is mad cool with eachother and were all pushin' eachother? You know what I'm talking about? You lift much more confident IMO.

my gym is pretty dope. its dark like a dungeon and all the alpha equipment is in the dungeon. theres some big ass guys there, maybe thats because my gym has been know for being part of a steroid ring. everyone is friends too, but thats the one part i dont partake in as much as the other guys because i dont want to deal with chit chat bull**** when im working out.
but its an overall pretty good vibe.
o except for that f4ggot john basedow.

My gym is pretty lame. I work out at my college, and there isn't much support. Plus, there is crap for equipment. I have worked out at an amazing gym, but unfortunately I moved.

I love my gym.

university gym, it depends what time and day i go. im usually there at the 5 o clock rush when all the people who are serious about lifting go, so although its really crowded the whole crowd gets u really pumped up. if i go to early in the day, though, its full of dip****s who do abs for an hour and do leg lifts on the bench press.

Pretty much the same here. The equipment isn't that bad, but it's not very good. It all seems to be dirty and old, but it does get the job done.

i make an effort to go to my gym when its quiet for a few reasons
1. i go when i can use the machines freely because my gym hasnt got that much, but all the stuff you need
2. i don't go to socialize, i go to get buff. the only person ive spoke to is the owners, i know the womans son and the bloke is a top guy, today we were chatting about the new 007 film, he also gives great advice.
3. the busier it is the hotter it is and theres no air con

Mine is a mix. There are a group of guys who are always leaving just as i arrive who are loud and intense and push each other. When im in the gym there are lots of guys who i can get on with and its a friendly atmosphere. There are also plenty of skinny s*its who dont have a clue and a few big guys on gear. So its not too bad. I like most that its a working man's gym.

My gym is pretty cool, and my owner appreciates the whole bbing thing, so I asked him about getting into it, and now he has me set up so I can workout for free as long as I clean up and help out and ****, and the people are cool too, theres like one weird guy, but after that we all think alike, and get along well.

I go to 2 gyms, one for a heavy day and the rest i go to a commertial gym.
The commercial gym is meh...
It lost alot of good members because they are going mainstream.
The other gym is a MMA gym where we have our equipment set up in the back, to put it simple its chalk, rust, 100lb plates, Texas squat bars ect...

yea i was there that day, this fat black woman tried kicking me out for making too much noise while they were filming. so i decided to do the alpha thing and go for some heavy rack pulls even though it was shoulder day. theres an even funnier video from that day when he says some bs and everyone in the gym laughed.

Been going evenings this week (uni gym) and it's too crowded. Sure, the people there obviously know how to lift properly, but it's just too damn hard to get to use the machines or even find a bench.
Last week I went early mornings and next week I'll be doing the same. All you get then is old men trying to make up for years lost and girls stretching on the mats.

I workout at my University gym... and its pretty much always packed. For all the machines i have to ask someone if i can get my sets done inbetween theirs.
However, its downstairs, dungeon like, and the weights are sectioned off from the cardio and other machines....
The atmosphere is what you make of it. Mostly its just people doing their own thing. But there are a few guys who come in who lift big, and i just tend to use them as inspiration.
I get annoyed with all the fools doing ab work in the weights area + the amount of people doing dumbell curls << omg.

I workout at a University gym as well... it's honestly, a really nice facility with plenty of equipment, it just gets ridiculously crowded.
As far as people, most are pretty friendly and courteous but I find that unless you bring a friend/spotter, most keep to themselves... I kinda like it that way.
