I'm so far behind it I'm in front of it right now - Trying to get the work out going after continued busy days on the job is a challenge. After I get home from work, I don't feel like doing NOTHING! Heh heh
I know your feeling. I work in the D.C. area so like everyone else here I have to commute. I am up at 4:00AM to get ready and make an hour drive to work and by the time I get off and make the hour drive to the gym I am exhausted. Two months ago I started using AP and it has completely transformed my workouts. I take the pill pack about 15 minutes into my commute home and I can feel the transformation from no energy to great energy and focus. The focus is so intense that sometimes I feel like I am getting tunnel vision on the highway. Anyway, since starting AP I went from looking for excuses to drive by the gym to never missing a day and getting the best workouts of my life. Give AP a try and you will get the energy you need.
But really, you just need to form a habit. Its always going to suck the first few weeks, but once you get in the swing of things, itll be easier and easier. Eventually youll feel incomplete when you miss a workout.
Try a low volume program - and don't max out on any lifts. This may not be 'optimal' whatever the hell that is but you will make progress and you will make working out into a habit which is more important.
Try working out before you get home. bring your gym stuff with you to work and go to the gym on the way back then when you get home you can do nothing.
