365 Bench Today
To follow up on prior thread ( http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...p?t=111854851), I was able to hit 365 lbs today on the bench press. It actually came up easier than the 355 did on the video on previous thread. I guess I was inspired from all the support. Thanks!
Maybe Joey will bring in his camera to film if I try 375 lbs in the next week or so, but getting back to 365 lbs. was my goal for the year. Body space updated. (-;

If you weigh 160 at age 41 like your avatar says, 365 is insane. I wondering what the olympic record is, and maybe, by age.
I found a site that listed all that info once. I remember looking at it and saw a body weight I was near and a pretty insane squat number. I was thinking with a crapload of training, I could maybe get up close to that. Then looked in the column to the far left and noticed a capital F. Yeah, gender column. I swam to the shallow end after seeing that.

Thanks.
My actual personal best is 395 lbs. at 175 or so, so 375 lbs. is not unfamiliar to me. I do think most would have probably said the same thing about jumping between 355 and 365. Now, I just need to "remind" my body/muscles what that much weight feels like. It'd be cool to capture it on film again. Wish me luck.

I didn't even know 2X body weight was possible.
Now I have to re-assemble my shattered world view.

HA HA. I only work chest once a week. Plus I don't want to get any heavier than 165 this year, so 395 will have to wait until next year if I allow myself the increased weight. I doubt it though since I'm still heavily into road biking.

Amazing anyway, but for a guy your height, weight, and age doubly so.

Nifty! I wish I could do that! 365 is a good deadlift weight for me...
