This bad boy is my fav carb meal. You can add what ever meat you have ready to go but obviously the cheapest and best source will be a can of tuna, so I'll use that.
You will need
100g Cous Cous
185G Can of Tuna (spring water type, no sauces this is a pre-comp diet)
Half Red Capsicum (Bell pepper to those not in New Zealand)
Half Green Capsicum
1 x Large Tomato
Some fresh basil leaves
Easy as cook the Cous Cous with some fresh ground pepper and place the Basil leave in the water.
Once cooked (only about 2 mins), place can of tuna, diced up Capsicums (bell peppers) and diced tomato into Cous Cous and mix.
Now depending on how stick your diet is you can do a few things.
1. Strict pre-comp just add a bit of lemon juice
2. Not so strick use lemon and a good drizzle of olive oil.
3. not to worried then cook the Cous Cous in strong chicken stock leave the lemon juice out but put in the olive oil.
The key to Cous Cous (as you may know) is to keep it moving after you have cooked it. get a fork and keep mixing it or it will go gluggey.
