Good one
Good one... thanks a lot for the thread... it would help... and i believe if we dont have weights and equipments, i think pushups or dips would be the best alternative

Try this as a circut with 1 min rest between circuts, 10 reps per movment.
Report back, I want to see how many people can complete.
Chin ups
Leg Lifts
Dips
Pushups
High Knee Jumps
Hanging Rows
Situps
Pullups
Bicycles
Burpees
I did the workout for the first time today and it was good. Alot more difficult than I thaught it would be. I finished 3 circuts.

Hi people! just been flicking through this thread to get a program together. I have been going to the gym for about 5 months now and have put on 10kg, however for the next 4 months ill be in the middle of nowhere for work, and will have no access to any gym equipment. Will doing push-ups and dips help keep the size i have gained or is it inevitable that i will loose my gains?
I'm planning on having reasonable diet, not anything special just normal healthy food, and combined with daily pushups, dips and situps, would this sound like it would be sufficient to keep gains? (I know it will be hard to improve, i'm just more worried about maintaining)
Also are there any lat exercises (Not chin ups) that can be done without machines?
THanks

Crossfit
Crossfit ( www.crossfit.com) has definently helped me a lot in a very short amount of time. It helped get me in tremendous shape in less than 3 months. I went from doing 12 pullups to 22 pullups over that time frame! Bodyweight training is a completly different style of training that will make you sore in muscles you didn't even know you had.
My favorite crossfit workout (Jason) only requires a bar or rings:
100 squats (bodyweight)
5 muscle ups
75 squats
10 muscle ups
50 squats
15 muscle ups
25 squats
20 muscle ups
This is a killer conditioning workout. If you do not know what a muscle up is search it on youtube. But if you burn through this for time you will definently feel it the next day!
Great thread and great posts from all of you!

Amazing bodyweight creativity. Lots of plyometric type work. This guy looks pretty big, but boy is he agile.
You gotta have good shoulder/scap/core strength and stability to do this kind of thing.

I think the equipment is not very important. If you want to lose weight, you can find any way .Sports is a good and effective method.such as running. Then a pair of running shoes is necessary.I like running too.I often do it in the morning. So I am healthy. If you want to buy running shoes,Have a look on www.ali-trade.com.They have Nike,Jordan,Airforceone,AirMax,Adidas,Gucci,Dunk,J ames,Shox,Bapestar,Puma,Prada. I think it is great.

Start by doing push ups using your knees. Or do them against the wall with your feet out.

No equipment workouts, different everyday
Do you want to workout from home but don't have any equipment?
Its easier then you think to workout from home with absolutely no equipment. The best weight to lift is your body weight. At home workouts should be done at an intense pace in order to raise the heart rate and start efficently burning calories.
IF you need help working out from home then visit my website. Everyday I post a different workout video that can be done from home with no equipment to buy and nothing to sign up for. Just a different, free workout video that can be done from anywhere! Just visit http://www.FitN20.com to get started!
We never use any equipment
Workouts can be done from anywhere

I have been trying to find some good, non equipment workouts. This will be very helpful when I am traveling around for my job and dont get to one of the modern gyms when I ma in the stix.

if u got nothing at home then try using the best workout machine uv got, YOURSELF! u can do push ups sit ups, mix it up a bit if it gets boring close hand push ups. when u get more advanced id incorperate a bit of gymnastics from some of the floor excercises and if possible make your own pommel horse, they work really well and will build massive body mass and tremendouse strenth if done properly. if u look at some of the gymnasts out there youll see theyve got supurior upper body strength and beleive it or not moste of them have never / hardly ever touched weights before

No equipment
I do not mean to be the bearer of bad news, but no equipment does put a hamper on most things. Body weight can only go so far, if you are looking to bulk up. Push ups, sit up, etc., are all good at getting some exercise in, but a gym can provide a lot more weight, which is what you need to put on some mass. Once you are able to do a hundred push up, sit up, pull ups, then what? You need more weight.
I am not criticizing because I have been in that situation where I had to suffice with what I could do, but the gym is almost a necessity unless you got the cash to shell out to buy a lot of equipment. Do what you need to bro.
On a plus side, I have heard of a bodybuilder (cannot recall his name, but he is mentioned in FLEX between 2006-2008) who prepared for a contest using 25lbs. dumbbells the entire year prior to it. He won or placed in the top three. If you got genetics like this, anything is possible. Just keep lifting.

Kick it old-school!
Sure, the comfort of the gym can be a great be a great thing for those looking to achieve their goals while in the midst of others. But, for some, working out at home with oure body weight and some homemade equipment can be jusat enough. I train plenty of clients out of their home with nothing else but body weight and some simple, inexpensive workout bands. Working out at home is particularly beneficial to those simply just looking to shred some .lbs'! Simply doing something around the house that keep the heart rate elevated is a great goal for beginners. The best thing about working out from home is that you can get creative and have fun with your workout. The peice of advice I can give is simply not to let anything get to you. Your fitness goal is exactly that, YOURS! No one elses! Be accountable for yourself in both negative and positive aspects. Track your progress to keep you motivated!!!
