Nick.

Out of everyone on this site. I respect you the most..

Not because of your insanely ripped abs. Not because of your strict diet and the ability to motivate yourself to do the vigorous training you do. Not because of your positivity towards everyone on this site and a real drive to help everyone be the best person they can be. Not because your an inspiration to pretty much everyone on this site..

But because you have an ability I've seen very, very, VERY few people have.

You keep your ****ing word.

If someone suggests, "hey nick, you should post some videos of you doing ab training"

and you reply "hey that's a good idea, i think i will."

A few days later. BOOM videos of you doing ab exercises are up.

And I think to myself, wow. he said he'd do something and he ****ing followed through.. I thought he was just saying he would to make that guy that posted that feel good.

You decide you want to follow a crazy diet that has you waking up at 6 A.M. eating the same damn meals every single fcking day.

You fcking do it. And you don't miss a god damn day.

NOT A SINGLE FCKING DAY!

are you serious Nick? are you some superhuman freak?! I can't even eat something I LOVE for more then 3 days!!

It's seriously unnatural.

AND you told yourself. I wanna get ripped. I'm following this insane workout that has me at the gym for a very long period of time and that's going to seriously burn me out.

And again. you follow through.

And again.. you haven't missed a single day....

And the results shine through.

I'm in complete awe Nick. I can't believe someone can have as much dedication as you do. It seriously is unhuman. Whenever there's something hard in life that we (we being normal people) told our self we would do. we just think, "Eh, but I didn't sleep well. I'll just do it tomorrow. No big deal" And we make excuses for our self. WHICH IS NORMAL. And we take a day off and not give it a second thought.

You post in this forum every training day, telling everyone exactly what workout and what diet you did and how you felt that day and what happened at the gym or in your life. so people can follow it and be inspired. You answer every single person's question and give them solid advice from your personal life.

Nick I ask you this. How the hell are you able to say something. And follow through with every ounce of your being.

What did you learn as a boy, or growing up, or w/e that made you think this way?

If there's any trait as a human being that i could acquire. It's this trait. Nothing can give you more success then saying your going to do something. And do it 110 %.

You've inspired me in a way no one else has Nick.

Thank you.

And btw. If it sounds like I'm sucking your balls and idolizing the ground you walk on..

then GOOD. you more then anyone deserve it.

Keep on keeping on Nick. I look forward to seeing what else your going to say and what results come from it.

Switched things around a bit today..Hit the lats first..then moved onto the mid-upper back exercises. Still stuck with the same routines, but just decided to hit the lats first today. Talked to a couple friends I hadn't seen in awhile, we all caught up a bit on how things were going with eachother. One of my buddies asked me when I am competing and I said next year...in about 1 year exactly, he said he's be there to support me..It's funny, I have some friends who are in and out of the gym...sometimes it'll be months before I see them. Life gets busy sometimes and for some the gym isn't a top priority, but for some it is. I could probably go 2 days max without training..MAX. LOL, I remember being out in Honolulu earlier this year for a week on mostly business and remember everyone wanting to take me out and do this and do that..I did go out with them only because I didn't want to be rude and I know they were being nice and wanted to show me around town..but when I got home at 10:00pm....yep, headed to the gym!..and the rest of the nights went to the gym as well..When I got back the first thing my boss said was.."Let me guess, you spent your nights at the gym?"...lol, I said yep..but I did go out a couple times with the crew. The gym keeps me in check and on track..I know a lot of you can relate. Anyway, I could go on and on about how much training means to me...but there are many more journal entries in which you will all hear it!

I am speechless about all of the messages you guys are posting...THANK YOU!!! The words of encouragement and your support really do mean a lot to me, and I will get back to every single one of you tomorrow. I promise.

I haven't seen my wife all day today and she just walked in, so I am going to spend the rest of the night with her, maybe pop a movie in or something.

Again, thank you all for the support..and I do promise I will get back to you all tomorrow.

Have a great night everyone!

Nick

nick what is the lowest weight you let yourself go down while cutting? Your weight stat measurements goes back only one year at 155 but i imagine you went lower than this to get 6 percent and then begin to bulk up. Am I right?

I felt kind of under the weather earlier this morning..not too sure what the deal was..just didn't feel that good..I started feeling better around lunch and headed off to the gym around 3:00 or so. Wasn't sure how training was going to go since I didn't feel too good earlier, but after the first 2 sets of lateral raises...I felt great! I was in the zone and ready to train. I've set goals for myself and I need to do my absolute best to reach those goals..and this means training hard, 5 days a week....no excuses. Pretty good day of training today considering how I felt earlier. I was amazed by this shredded up woman at the gym today...she had to be fitness model or fitness competitor..She looked amazing. Everybody was in awe, including myself. She kind of looked a little like Pauline Nordin..for those of you who know who she is...She is amazing..The girl I saw today was not as muscular as her..but had that look and was shredded! She did some shoulder routines and ab routines and that was it. Anyway, had a great session today and I'm ready for tomorrow...chest day.

I'll be answering some posts now....

Have a great night everyone,

Nick

Here are a few questions though;

what do u mean exactly when you say 'sipping intra-workout'? Do you take a sip or two in between sets until you're out then water from there? Im gonna get my PW soon and I wanna know the most effective way to take it in.

I remember you saying that you take every supp on weekends (morning) that you take on training days but i think you said dont take WF/WB on weekends but do you still take Purple Wraath? No ,right??

Sometimes, after your workout you eat about 18oz worth of chicken. Well I'm probably wrong but I think 6oz of chicken has about 60grams of protein..meaning you're taking in about 180grams of protein from dinner alone. So you do go above 200-220 grams per day then or am i wrong?

On your workout days such as bis/tris/forearms, do you just focus on finish up on muscle group or do you alternate? Like set 1: bis, set 2:tri set3:forearms, set4: bis, etc...or do you just knock all bi's out, then tri's, then forearms?

Im taking soy milk as opposed to skim..should I make a switch?

Sorry to bombard you with all these questions! Hope you can crunch in the time to answer em!

Thanks for setting up this journal! Its helping a bunch of people including me! You're a frikkin blessing dude. And your pics are frikkin motivating! (no homo)

-Jase
Hey Jase, thank you!!

I'll answer your questions accordingly..

What I mean by "Sipping intra workout" is I do my best to make my PW last throughout my entire training session..which 22oz's usually does.

Yes, I take all my current supps on off days except for WB\WF..I only use those supps pre-wo. GlycerGrow is optional, but I do take that as well on my off days.

The chicken I am currently eating has about 20 grams of protein in it..So I am eating about 60 grams of protein at dinner along with some carbs..but I am probably taking in around a good 230-240 grams of protein a day in...not 100% sure, but since I have upped my cals, I am assuming it's a little more of everything.

On my workout days like you listed..I knock out bi's, tri's, then forearms...pretty much burning out every muscle group.

Soy milk should be fine..I actually do Lactaid since I have a sensitive stomach..doesn't taste too bad at all!..It's lactose free..but yeah, spy should be ok.

Let me know if you have any other questions bro, and thanks again!

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Gotta hit the gym in the AM and make work by 8:30.

I've been reading this thread daily for quite a while and it definitely keeps me motivated!
Hey man, yeah PM me or shoot me an e-mail anytime. I think my pm inbox is full right now..but I will clean it out ASAP, best bet is to hit my up on my email and if you have already, I will get to you ASAP, promise.

Thanks man.

Awesome dude, thanks! Glad I can help a bit! Yeah..cutting is never fun..but in order to get that definition and low BF% it's got to be done. It's the gaining part that's hard for myself, solid lbs of course..but slowly putting them on, just want them to be solid gains...so I do it slowly.

And the best thing is that you are honest about every single supplement that you mentioned in your journal!! The results that I'm having in only one week is just amazing!! You made me buy my stack and I'm just glad that I did it!!

Thanks again for the motivation Nick, not only for help me doing the right choice on supps but also in my life!! ( before know you and your journal I was about to make the wrong choice by starting to use some A. Roids)
I'm glad that I've been always natural and even more that I'll always be a natural guy!!!

Thanks a lot Nick!!

Your friend in Brazil.

Marcelo
Marcelo! I am so happy to hear that you are loving the CL Stack!! That is great man! I try to be as up front as possible with everyone I know..if they ask me things like "What should I take for this, what should I take for that?"....I will tell them the truth, and never BS them. CL has been awesome and their supplements really are effective. I have never gotten the current results I have using anything else..and I have tried a lot of supplements!! Hahaha. I am glad you stuck to the natural side and decided not to go to the DARK SIDE (ROIDS)...The gains you make naturally will make you feel so much better Marcelo.

Keep it up man!!!

Hey dude..Try taking your Blue Up in the morning, this was what I started to do after I found out that I was having trouble sleepig since it still was in my system when I went to bed..It does have stims in it..You could also get the stim free next time..or try lowering the dosage a bit to 1 pill instead of 2...Let me know if you have any other questions..

Hey Mike, I don't even know what to say bro, those are some of the nicest, most supporting and encouraging words I have ever heard. Thank you, and I really mean that.

The gym, the iron, the training has become a lifestyle for me and I love it..it truly is a passion that has changed my life and made me a better person, without it...I don't know where I'd be or what I would do. It teaches you so many things and shows you what dedication and hard work can do for you..if you spend day in and day out in the gym, train hard, and eat clean..the possibilities are endless. You will be that person you want to be, you will be that person you want to see in the mirror...it just takes time, hard work, and consistency. Some 6 years back I was in the gutter..literally. I had nothing, lost everything and it was all due to a horrible addiction..I never used to give a **** about anything, not even my family. I would steal, cheat, and lie everyday while trying to support an alcohol addiction..it ate me up and spit me out..I did jail, did rehab..and relapsed many times eventually learning that I had a future in hell or in jail..which meant dead..or wishing I was dead while rotting in jail..I needed a change..and when my father bought me my first bench press, I put it in the middle of my bedroom and remember finding my new addiction, the iron..My parents were great parents and raised me how parents should raise their children..I look back and think about how much I hated them for how strict they were..but now I realize that they are my parents and parents need to raise their children and show them what responsibilty is and what happens when you break rules or even the law..It's funy because I just thanked them the other day for everything they have done for me. Anyway, this is me..just a kid who realized he needed to change..

Mikey, thanks again man..everything you said really means a lot to me bro.

Nick

Dude! Same thing happened to me the SAME day! Haha..

I took blue up(original) + WF 40 mins prior to working out and within 10-15mins I was berserk. I took PW+GG while working out and my heart beat went insane! I loved it tho. I knocked out what I usually finish in 2 hours in about 70-80mins. But as soon as I got home..I was still messed up. I had no apetite for some reason and 3 hours later (midnight), I couldnt sleep. I had the crappiest sleep ever..If I should even call that sleep. I woke up every 10mins. My heart rate dropped but my body was all about moving. My eyes were gettin heavy but I wasnt tired. It was a really annoying feeling and because of that I have to skip out on the gym today coz I dont want to workout again not having slept.

It was the first day I took a Controlled Labs product. But then again it was my own fault..I didnt pay attention to the 'first serving' instructions and I just took the regular serving (when your body would be used to it). Im telling you it was bad. I learned my lesson. Im only taking 1 scoop of everything (but GG) for about a week or so.

TO NICK:

Thanks for answering my previous questions Nick! I really appreciate it!! Though new questions came with my recent adventure..

You said you think it was the Blue Up that caused that? Im going to take those in the morning too and hope its effects wont be reduced. But was it really the Blue Up and not WF that caused it?

Also, should I mix GG with PW, WF, or GB/GM? Does it really matter?

So I made up Thursdays workout yesterday..and it was a great workout..Since I didn't train Thursday I felt more rested and refreshed than ever. My rest times between sets were about 30 seconds each and the energy level was through the roof. I went pretty early because I had a halloween party thing to go to and it was pretty packed in the gym because I think people had plans that night..everybody seemed like they wanted to get in and get out lol. Chest is very soar this morning and it feels good. Abs are pretty soar as well I did some pausing here and there on some routines really tightening up the abs..I usually train legs Friday's, but will be training them today making up for Friday. Plan on hitting them hard and perhaps bumping up some weight a little on some routines..we'll see how it goes.

Hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween,

Talk to you all very soon,

Nick

There's no doubt in my mind that the Blue_Up is what caused that...and it might have been a mixture of the Blue Up and WF...I had trouble sleeping too when I first started taking BU...but when I took it in the mornings, I was ok..Yes the WF will give you a jolt...but not as crazy as when mixing BU and WF..You can also try reducing BU to one pill instead of 2 if you are really sensitive to it's effects.

Do 3 scoops of GG on your tongue and chase it with GM and WF mixed,,drink your Purple wraath while working out.

Hey Marcelo,

I am doing great bro, thanks for asking! Just plan on enjoying my day off from work and the gym....well at least for little, I do have to work a little later tonight..but that's alright...money is money right!?

Yes, I saw that movie in the theatre and thought it was great!! My wife and I went to go see it when it first came out. We both loved it. I actually just watched it again recently about 2 weeks ago since it is now on DVD. I thought it was a very well made documentary that shows the truth about steroids and other performance enhancing drugs.

How are you Marcelo?..and what did you think about the movie?

Training went well..it was pretty dead in the gym, I'm assuming that everybody was recovering from hangovers and all nighters since it was Halloween the night before..but walking into an empty gym made it easier for me to get things done.

I just purchased and got confirmation of my tickets for MuscleMania in Vegas in about 3 weeks. Looking forward to it! Hoping to come back with some great stories.

Alright guys, I've got to head out of here pretty soon, so I will talk to you all later. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Nick

about the movie

Hey Nick, I'm also doing good!! feeling great these days!!

About the Movie I enjoyed it!! Really good movie and I think it was a terrific idea from the creators to show all the things about Roids....

It isn't just about how bad A.Roids are, but it also show us some troubles in the politics.. Like the G. W Bush's speech about how bad it is... but it also show us that he was the owner of a Baseball team wich has some Athlets using the drugs!! How couldn't he know it!!

Wich is funny is that people in the movie are always changing sides!!

Ohhh and about Greg Vallentino!!! this guy is CRAZY!!!!!

Good movie!! Good interviews and an excelent crew!!

Had a great training session today, kept the rest between sets around 30 seconds and kept that pump going. It was a great day at the gym today. really hit the bi's, tri's, forearms and abs hard. A lot of my friends were at the gym today so I did talk a little between sets just to catch up, but quickly got back into the zone as I really don't like to converse much when I am training, most know that..I mean I don't mind talkin...but I also am there to train. I put in my monthly order today for my CL supps and got the new White Flood Tabs...eager to try these and will let you all know how things work out..I have always been a big fan of White Flood...really kicks me in the ass and gives a crazy pump throughout your workout. It's been about a month and a half since I've been on WF and now I'm looking forward to getting back on it.

Tomorrow is back day and I really plan on bringing the intensity and training hard tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great night,

Nick
