Smartest Human in History
Name: William James Sidis (1898 - 1944)
Title: Smartest Human in History
Recorded I.Q.: 250 - 300 (Da Vinci was predicted to have had an I.Q. between 180 and 220; no human has ever approached 250, let alone 300)
Accomplishments:
-read the New York Times at eighteen months
-taught himself eight languages by age eight, as well as his own complete language (Vendergood)
-was capable of learning a single language in one day and mastering it in seven
-entered Harvard University at eleven
-earned his B.A. at Harvard at sixteen (graduated cum laude)
-claimed to have a thorough understanding of the nature of the fourth dimension; he is perhaps the only human being ever to have conceptualized space beyond three dimensions (he attempted to teach such concepts at the Harvard Mathematics Club)
-was a proclaimed atheist, socialist, and conscientious objector during World War I
-nurtured such great intelligence, that his own parents (both of whom were also geniuses) believed he was insane; to Sidis, there was no living human whom he did not view as mentally retarded (this due to the inherent social gaps between people of high and low intelligence; consider that 100 is the average I.Q. and 70 is considered retarded -- to Sidis, this meant that most of society was on the same intellectual plane as insects)
-created an entirely unique calendar system
-was an eminent historian, mathematician, cosmologist, psychologist, astrophysicist, and theoretical physicist

And yet he won't be remembered by history, because he didn't really give us anything that important.

Was his fourth dimension thesis credible or just bunk? He died young so did he even contribute much to the scientific community despite all his personal accomplishments?

if by "interacting" you mean trading, than yes, but usually by definition of socialism, only to a limited degree, due to protectionist tarrifs and regulations.

It's ironic to note that George Orwell's/Eric Blair of "1984" was a staunch socialist.

With an IQ of 250-300? Then how come he was never as famous Newton, Da Vinci, Pascal, Einstein, etc? I mean, this guy should have invented the PC from way back then with his advanced intellect, find cures for cancers and other diseases, or design aircraft and other machines way ahead of it's time....like an equivalent to the F-16 in the 1920s or some **** (LOL), or be the first one to theorize nuclear technology before Einstein...
And his calenders and languages...(LOL) It has definitely benefited us in many ways (LOL).
Vendergood (LOL). Of all the names...We have Spainsh, Arabic, English, Finnish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, then all of a sudden....Vendergood....(LOL)
Maybe he was retarded (LOL).
