no wrist wraps that will promote weakness. Try dead lifting OP. Double overhand grip no straps!

your an idiot.
well do you roll your wrists back and let the barbell rest on your palm when your benching?
or do you keep your wrists straight?
keep your wrists straight, its like punching.
if you get a wrist support or a glove with wrist support, it'll help a lot.

I prefer to not use straps or wraps or any thing when I lift. I believe if the exercise is done right you don't have any problems. I lift a good amount of weight and I find a solution is to do something with good form and I never have pains or aches or anything.

Just make sure the bar isn't resting too far back in your hand while your benching, if it does it will bend your wrist farther backwards and hurt it, you can also push more weight if the bar in resting on your palm in vertically line with your forearm.

Well thats great and dandy.... But i promise you... You could prolly get more out of your workouts if you used them....
I used to be against them to... when I was young and Naive.... Now I love them and feel they are a critical part in my workout...

my wrists used to hurt alot from benching, curling etc
one thing is up your calcium intake
once i started working forearms by doing forearm curls and other forearm exercises every second day they didnt hurt as much doing forearm curls or as much during benching, curling.
fish oils help
stretch your wrists out and loosen them up before lifts
wrist straps help but dont rely on them or your wrists will be week
when your wrist starts to hurt is when you strap it up
or for 1 rm maxes
also grip the bar as tight as you can, it will tense your wrist up and make it therefor stronger, chalk helps.

Happens to me too. I guess it's just weak wrists. Mine have always been kinda puny and weak.

lol at thinking wrist wraps are bad for you...
I'd rather wear wrist wraps than have arthritis in my wrist when I'm like 25.

This actually really helped me...
Just hold the bar lower in your hand... usually people hold it too high and the will bend your wrist back.

Holding it lower will help too, but may also lessen your grip with heavier weights increase risk of injury.

I used to have this problem. Your wrists/grip are too weak, that simple.
Mine got stronger through my leg workouts with grip. (deadlift, dumbbell step-ups, ect.)

Couple of months ago i dislocated my shoulder benching, and also would have wrist pain after a heavy set. Since then i've really focused on my form...im now squeezing the **** out of the bar, keeping my wrist straight and tucking my elbows more towards the body. Now that im making a conscious effort on using that form I havent had any wrist pain since, and my forearms have grown.

being dead serious, you may want to have it checked out.. a year into lifting i started getting little pains in my lift when i benched, and i slowly noticed a bumb another year down the road.. i got it check out last month, and it turns out i have a cyst on my wrist. hurts sometimes now sometimes doest. if i bend my wrist its noticable but otherwise not.. lost some flexibility in the wrist from it. i have to go to the doctors in december when i am at the rents next to see if its gotten worse and need surgery to see if i need it removed.
