new pr on dl
Yesterday in Strength & Conditioning at my school i did 350 on deadlift at 125.
I got 370 up but couldnt lock it out. Any tips or pointers to help me increase my deadlift and squat. I had got 245 on squat. I have to do everything with a belt since its mandatory in class or i would get kicked out.

Yea, I'd say gain a little bit of weight and that 370 will go up easy. For routine suggestion you should try the Bill Starr program.

For a second I read "new pron dl" and just had to check this thread out.
Seriously though, you have pretty good strength for your weight. I think at this point you might tell us what your current strength training regimen is, so the more knowledgable people can give advice based on that.

If all you need is 7 more pounds on your deadlift to hit your goals, you can do that by eating a better breakfast and turning the volume up on your music a little bit. No big deal.

i'd count the 370. if your not able to lockout but yet able to stand 100% vertical with the weight then its a legit rep IMO. whats your back routine like?

i do:dl, sldl, squats, box squats, rows, bent over rows, power clean, and i think thats about it.
Our strength and conditioning coach is very strict when it comes to getting parallel, locking out, touching chest, etc. wheter its just for a pr or school record.
Ive really on been lifting for about a year now
Most of my friends of have been lifting for quite sometime say i shouldn't dead lift everyday. Is this true or are they just messing with me?

That is absolutely true. I wouldn't deadlift heavy more than once a week.
You can squat multiple times a week. However, deadlift is extremely taxing.

done deadlift or squat everyday. if you want to have 1 heavy squat/DL day and 2 speed work days for those lifts then thats fine.
