If i had slapped my mother at that age(or any age for that matter)i would have suffered instatanious death symdrome. I never would recovered, theres no cure to this day, usually there are signs to this disease like Footinassis, and Pistolwhipusitis.

Kids will call Child Protective Services these days. I grew up getting beat on the regular. Can't say that it taught me discipline but it did make me violent and eager to fight others. My oldest sister and I both received beatings everytime we fcked up and we both grew up getting in a lot of fights. My youngest sister hardly ever got her ass beat, I can only remember two occasions where she got a slight "spanking" and she has never fought anyone (beside me and my oldest sister) in her life.

it's not the mom's fault. that ****er thinks he's old enough to act like an adult. he's the one who's wrong. he's idk...10-13yo. at that age, you are still a child. as a child, you don't pay rent, bills, etc. That being the case, it's should be okay for you to not have the rights that adults have. It's okay for kids to not have the same power in certain things/subjects. Mom and kid butt heads, sometimes the mom will win w/o her having to explain herself. Most of the time, parents know best.
Once the kid grows up and starts to be an adult and have adult responsibilities, maybe then he'll be able to have more of a say. And even then you can't do that to your mom.
