Late Night Carbs
I generally avoid carbs at night. However, occasionally because of my schedule, I have to work out late. I generally take in a post workout shake with 70 grams of WaxiMaize after all workouts to stop catabolism. Will this result in fat gain if I do it at say 10pm? Would it be better to avoid the WaxiMaize post workout if I am lifting late?

Regardless of what time it is, you should always have a good post workout meal/shake. Assuming you have just put your body through hell and back, your body needs energy to start repairing its muscles. Stick with your typical PWO.

Carbohydrates can't tell time. You need them post-workout regardless if it's 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM.

"To maximise muscle protein anabolism, recovery drink should contain glucose (dextrose), protein (usually whey) hydrosylate containing mainly dipeptides and tripeptides, and leucine."

Yes but he said PWO that he always drinks a shake, so I quoted that portion.

Not me. Just don't like it. Prefer my oats cooked and if I want some PWO carb in a shake I go with fruit.

Really? For some weird reason, I love both the taste and consistency oats add to my strawberry protein shake.

How much do you use for each ingredient (strawberries, oats, whey, water/ice/milk?)?

500 ml of water
45 g (scoop and a half) of Strawberry Isolflex
75 g of ground up oats
Works out to basically:
50 g of carbohydrates
50 g of protein
5 g fat
445 calories
