Hey guys I had recently heard that crystalline fructose, a new popular sweetener in Vitamin Water and many other sports drinks, contains arsenic.
Now I am not going to say much about Crystalline Fructose, only show you what I found. I download an MSDS sheet (

http://www.admworld.com ADM, one of the largest agricultural processors in the world.
I was blown away to see that crystalline fructose had arsenic in it. I called some people on it (at ADM) and asked them if that was for real.... they said well its a miniscule amount, and it's FDA approved.
I don't know about you, but if I can avoid eating arsenic I am gonna. FDA approved doesn't give me any solace to be honest. Isn't their approval bought by lobiest? any way I just thought I would share this info.
I also found this site that listed several sports drinks that contain crystalline fructose... among them vitamin water. Crazy stuff!
