Where'd you guys go, after all? You called me and like 2min later a friend txt'd me asking to go to Honest Lawyer. I lol'd when i got both messages at like 11:30 when I went to bed.

Nah, was tranferred to veterans affairs until the renvations are complete at DND. We went to Honest Lawyers, ironically, then headed back to a friends place and drank/watched porn until 5am. (no homo, lots of girls there)

LOL... What's there to do at Honest Lawyer at night? I've gone to watch the games 'n stuff, but there's no dancefloor or DJ, is there? There were some live bands, before... but ****, I'm not white enough to manage to get funky to a white band

There's **** all to do when you're sober tbh. A lot of people were pretty wasted and played pool/dance dance revolution/punching game/basketball game(I won, 34 straight free throws). LOL, I have to take you to this ghetto club called Diesel on elgin, it's actually pretty good, you'd like it.

I actually just got home from the airport. I was supposed to fly out at 18:40 to London, but the plane got hit by lightning on its way to Ottawa and had to make an emergency landing somewhere.

They said we weren't going to leave until 1:30 am, so I was like...fuk this, and came home.

Unfortunately the security screening closes at 11:00, so I'll have to be there and dick around for a few hours.

Why does God hate me? I'm not Jewish.

Screening doesn't close at 11, it closes when the last plane leaves. Which means if the London flight was delayed till 1:30, screening would close at 1:30. If a plane is delayed late enough, night staff has to stay until morning staff arrives.

Yeah I got 6 issues of Macleans to catch up on and I'm also finally going to read Ender's Game in the next couple of weeks hopefully.

I haven't been in the new terminal at Heathrow, but Ottawa airport is one of the nicest airports I've been to and its cool because its not too big either. (thats what she said)

Huh, thats what the Air Canada chick told us as we were leaving.

Flight was delayed until 8:30 am anyways, it didn't end up making a difference anyways.

It depends on when they delay the flight. If your flight was delayed till 8:30am from the start, then security would close after the Calgary flight left (which is, pending delays, the last one of the night) However, the airlines have a tendency to delay a flgith 30 minutes at a time.

And the people who work for Air Canada are idiots.

Hmm, not too much to update on, still working away and my school start date is fast approaching (oct 20th) and I have so much to learn still! (Seems ironic to be learning in order to be ready for school 0_o) What's going on in your lives?

Sinn - it's funny over the past month or so (or whenever since you posted that M.I.A. paper planes video) I can't get it out of my head and it's quickly become one of my favourite recent songs. ^_^ Everytime I'm in the car and it comes on (which is becoming more and more often as of late) I put the volume to full blast (ok, well almost full blast...>_>...okay, so I keep it to a max volume of 30- I've still only got my G2! ) I've been doing a lot of highway driving recently- exciting, but nerve racking! Especially considering a lot of the times I have the car is when I'm going to appointments I have during the week that are downtown and end up driving back out to Rockland (boyfriend now lives there) right in the middle of rush hour! Everyone gets so stupid. Example: I'm in the middle lane and can see up ahead that the passing lane is closed. Buddy in front of me (not paying attention to anything but the fact that he's not going faster than the next guy) decided to merge into the fast lane, ONLY to then later have everyone put their signals on at once. Grr! Sorry, enough ranting!

Paul - I did want to ask you, what kind of programming do you do? I remember when you first spoke to me about your job I had no idea about anything related to programming, and now I'm curious. I think you mentionned you do something related to database(s? what's the plural?). Do you use SQL server?
