PICS! 310 lbs. to 185 in 13 months, competing tomorrow!
Hey everyone whats up! No this isn't me, it's a young guy I've been guiding since the end of March of this year to help him achieve his complete and utter transformation.
His name is Tony Green, and tomorrow he's competing in the KC Gold's Classic Show (same show as Lando). Tony weighed 310 lbs. in August of 2007, and steadily started to lose weight. In March, he and I hooked up and I took over the reigns of his diet and gave him training advice. At that time he weighed about 255 lbs. The weight just started melting off him! And the best part, every week when we would check his progress he'd tell me about a new PR he set with his bench press or deadlift. His calories never dipped below 2300, and even 3 weeks out of the competition he was still talking about how much stronger he was at the gym.
Throughout his prep for this show, he's been nonstop on Xtend, Dialene 4, and Sesamin (among other supplements). And now he's completely sold on Scivation, with a 10lb. bag of protein and more Xtend waiting for him to dive into. Tony's lost 120 lbs. in 13 months, and tomorrow he is going to show everyone that ANYTHING is possible when you set your mind and heart to it.
Pics of him at 247 lbs. and 185 lbs

Tvice - That's awsome. Contest aside, his confidence, health and quality of life just improved ten fold - this I can tell you first hand having gone through a similar - abeit not quite as much - weight loss to compete.
You know what's even better? This is Tony's first competition with a 113# weight loss. He may not know it yet but he doesn't feel anywhere near as good as he will getting ready for show 2. I'm in bulk right now and can tell you that I don't ever remember feeling as good as I do right now in my life. My CV endurance, strength, sleep and recovery patterns - everything - is just at a record high and I'm hoping to do much better at my next show. I think this dude will experience something similar. By the looks of him, and given his appearant age, he's got a bright future.

He placed 3rd in collegiate, and 4th in novice. It was awesome and he was extremely excited about how things turned out. When the MC told the audience how much weight he had lost he got a pretty damn big ovation.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

amazing! great job to you both, the trainee looks like he has some nice potential.
OP- Quick question. I myself have lost about 80 lbs over the last year and a half, and while i think iam still losing body fat, its my mid-sectionall around i have a problem with. My goal is abs by 2009, and I noticed that Tony also has a bit of belly flab too, how have you, or intend to get rid of it? It seems to want to just stay there while the rest of the fat on my body melts off.

Hey everyone! He's on the boards and checked this thread out and it's keeping him extremely motivated and excited. Not really sure why he hasn't chimed in though...
Thanks again for all the praise and encouragement you are all throwing his way.

He may have given you the knowledge and direction, but you are the one who put in the time and dedication to perservere and put that plan into place. The old adage, "you can lead a horse to water........" comes to mind.
Anyway, kudos to you both and keep up the amazing work. You should be very proud and I can't wait to see what you do in your next contest!!!!

BigTony trained his ass off for that show. His work ethic is second to none. Next time he competes, I've no doubt he'll scare the hell out of everyone.
