Who here lives alone in a apartment?
Do you like it..Next Fall I probably will be going to a different college, but I already have my associates and therefore can not get a dorm room. I will be forced to live in a 1 bed apartment until I find a roommate. So how do you guys like living by yourself?
I hate having to make new friends continuously...

Well I really would like to actually know the person im thinking of roomin with better. i tried doing that once and it lasted like 3 weeks man..not again lol

depends on the type of person you are I suppose..are you a very independent person? Living by yourself can have it's pros and cons just like anything else.

I kind of mixed man..there are days when I dont want to see or be around anyone and then there are days when i want to go out to clubs and stuff...so i suppose it would be cool..

not so much bored, but i like more things going on. I like having people to chill the hell out and watch TV. If my options are basically find some buddies and chill and watch TV in the evenings and bull****, bbq, and drink beers daily i'd chose that over living by myself.

Love AND hate it.
Long story short i moved a bit farther from where i originally lived (30 min. by car) than i would have liked to be closer to my now EX GF.
We lived together, didn't work, now i am single have this pimp ass condo. I basically rent a 1000+ sq ft. condo in a super nice area.
Problem: All of my friends live 30 min. away, and i haven't met any girls close enough to just come over and bone in the pad.
Basically = FAIL

I love it. I got a mortgage and moved into my own place in the centre of town a month ago. Perfect for work (2 minutes walk) and amenities. I get the best of both worlds. I love my own company but when I get bored I can easily get out there and socialise. It's a win win for me.

I lived alone in a studio apartment for about 2 years. It was awesome. You can literally do whatever the hell you want all the time. No annoying roommates getting in your business.

I do but I'm in Europe. I live in a flat with one big room with flat screen TV, DVD, a kitchen with fridge and microwave, a bathroom and a bedroom. That's all I need b/c I get back home after work to surf the boards and watch TV!

i had a kickas* roommate since my freshman yr of school...and after he moved i ended up movin into a single. i HATED it. even tho i had my pplz around it jus wasnt the same. i used to shoot the sh!t all the time and if i ever wanted to go out and do sumpn (like throw round, spotter, eat) id always have someone to go w. i still had a good social life, but it jus sucked comin home and not havin fun, (watchin tv w someone is always funnier, jus cuz u gotta b nuts to laugh by urself).
but the good news... i DEF got used to it (after bout 3 months) so if u HAD a roommate itll take sometime to get used to. if u havent had one (ie. livin at home) ull effin love it.
