What's your most tempting cheat?
I've virtually sworn off most bad cheat foods: desserts, pizza, fast food, etc. And I'm really not terribly tempted by those things anymore.
But I still love my wine! (I seriously don't know what I'm going to do if/when I ever get pregnant).

Pretty much anything. I love food, hence my career.
But the booze, ack, the booze... gets me everytime.

You read my mind! I love wine, to the point where I collect and age it. I had to give it up for 6 weeks pre competition and it was SO hard. I would never do it if I didn't have to.

I chose sweet. Ice Cream and chocolate, or even better - both!

red velvet cake! Oh that sounds soooo good right now. It sounds crazy but I've had fantasies about it during intimate times with my husband. Unfortunately its on my banned foods list. I know you should allow cheats every now and then but this is one of those things that I Know with out a doubt that I could not stop once I take a single bit. But oh how I miss it.

I voted sweet food because I *really* like chocolate, but pizza would be a close second.

Wine or pizza. Even better both together! I go to finger lakes NY every year for the past 5 years to the wine trail to stock up on wine and ofcourse sample too.

Beer.
It's my one big weakness.
Never cared for wine - I guess I just never developed a taste for it.

Delicious red wine is mine, too!!! Chianti FTW!
I can stay away from it pretty easily, really...but if I can think of a good excuse to drink it (ha), I'll splurge on some wine over anything else. I HAVE had wine while everyone else is having dessert! LOL If I'm being good, I'll just have some coffee while everyone else is having dessert. Seems like red-wine drinkers are typically coffee drinkers so maybe you can turn that into your habit.
When I was pregnant, everything like that actually made me sick. Coffee, dark carbonated beverages, pizza, fast food burgers (I could eat the awesome ones my dad makes, thank God!) and anything with mesquite flavoring would make me hurl. So maybe you'll luck out in that department.

Bakery sweet stuff! I can't walk past a bakery without getting big-time craving for something. The smells just captivate me.... Slices, muffins, FLAPJACKS (the English kind)- they all call to me. I love English puddings, like sticky toffee and rhubarb crumble with custard. And cheesecake is always pretty tempting too. Okay, hungry now, time for some soothing Lindt 85% .

OMG! I just about spit out my tea reading that! Hahaha. That's awesome. That tells me that your husband has got to be pretty damn good at what he does if it makes you think of a cake that delicious.

I craved salad and subway sandwiches. I would stare people down for the other half of their foot long sandwich if they didn't eat it fast enough. I always won, too...poor, ravenous looking pregnant woman that I was.

I'm quite surprised about all you boozers. The only reason I drink has always been the fact that, when everyone around me is loaded, there's no point in staying sober - too frustrating. Of course a glass of wine here and there, after lunch, is a healthy choice so I'm not getting into that, yet.. It's really amazing that someone can't "get off the booze". Then I remembered it's the same thing with me and coffee - except I'm a coffee adict & aware of it...Have you guys ever considered that the "booze gets me every time" might grow into a slightly less trivial issue..?

Chocolate Cake...German Chocolate...Red Velvet...anything chocolatey and cake-ee! Haven't had a cookie since January 08 or a piece of cake. Wonder if I'd still like it the same now though? Prolly not...cuz when I do have a cheat meal...it never seems to taste as good as it did when I lived on fast foods and basically, all sh*t foods. Sucks...but good in a way...I guess.

Considering that I maybe drink it once a month, am picky about flavor and don't typically drink to catch a buzz that's a no for myself. I'm with you so far as drinking coffee goes, though. I partake in that on the daily...but I don't consider it a cheat at all (I drink it black).
I'm not sure that anyone means they can't say no. It's just that they prefer the flavor of wine (or a margarita or whatever) over other flavors. For me, if I only get to have one extravagance during dinner, it's gonna be delicious vino.

I've totally had wine during dessert time too! (Although, truth be told, I prefer to have my wine on an empty stomach, because you definitely get a better buzz that way.) On other occassions, I've done the decaf.
Somebody was telling me just this weekend that their tastes totally changed while pregnant - that they didn't enjoy wine like usual. So, it should be interesting to see what happens to me if/when I cross that line...
