I do really applaud the way that Universal and Gaspari handled themselves in this issue. I tried to stay off the bandwagon as far as passing judgement on the lab tests because I knew that as an outsider, I was not informed to do so. For the record, I'm still not. The best I or anyone else can do is to look at the evidence provided by all parties and make the most informed decision possible. Unfortunately, it is kind of like politics in that way. You may never know what goes on behind the scenes, but you have to pick the candidate that you feel is telling the most truth and is the most reputable.
But I do think other companies could and should learn from this how to deal with this sort of matter. Screaming and calling anyone who disagrees with you or is curious about the tests names, or saying check the logs, simply will not suffice. This response, along with the response from Gaspari, are quite frankly, in my opinion, the minimum requirement for continued consumer confidence.

Hats off to Universal!

Correct Chromadex was one of the two labs that was used to test the product the 2nd time. No better way to get to the heart of the matter than to go back to the original lab and have it tested accurately.

For the public record, one of the labs we used in this matter was ChromaDex. These points are just to show that lab tests can be misconstrued and twisted to suit needs when there are personal or financial motives at play. Regardless of all the doubts and the lack of definitive proof of the allegations that were made, we realize that our own inspection and doubts do not fully vindicate us in the public arena. Again, this is why we spent the time, effort and dollars to test both the raw material and the finished product.

*continues Deserusan's slow clap*
I'm impressed that Universal took the time to research this and verify the production process. Despite being confronted with Drama and Accusations both Gaspari and Universal come out of this looking very good! I'm off to buy me some M-stak in celebration!

So you say ChromaDex was also used to test for you. Why cant the results from them be posted just like they were before?
I dont plan on takin M-Stak and never have (not because I question the product, but because I dont need a hardgainer’s pack), but I am sure there will be several people wanting to see the ChromaDex results to ease their mind.
Anyway, I take Pak, Cuts, and Omega and I am happy to do so. They are great products. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

Never doubted Universal/Animal in the first place. Stand up company that went about this the right way.
No rushing to get out an answer for the sake of an answer but proper testing/confirmations.
Good job guys. It's why I've been a supporter.

Kudos to Universal.
I think some of the recent events in this whole Turk issue have provided some excellent examples of both proper and improper handling of serious corporate issues on the part of different parties.
+ Respect points to Universal.

And those of us who have seen those products work first hand will keep using them. This whole matter was shameful and very immature. I am almost embarrassed to be a part of this community in a way but I know these things don't directly reflect on bb.com or the great people that run it. So on that note, lets get back to lifting fellas!

Things like this is why I picked Universal as my Sponsor. Spending a decade here developing the "fitnessman" Persona I didn't take getting a sponsor lightly.
For decades their reputation has been solid and will remain so for decades more.

Looking forward to the reaction of DCarruso and the other TL nuthuggers........
This should be used as example A of what is wrong with the mob mentality/group think phenomenon that takes place around here. People are way to quick to judge without all the evidence and can be so naive and or gullible enough to think there best interest is in hand. Its about money people. I also think there are quite a few "unaffiliated" members who actually have some vested interested in things such as this debacle and tend to lead said naive people in one direction.

Certainly would be a waste to ban someone over anything involving Ross. When I see people giving him a chance again I cry, but maybe that's because 10 chances later I've finally given up on him.
