I have a 360, but haven't tried the live yet. I suck at the newer games, so I haven't ventured there until I get better. I like the old school games. My kids laugh at me because I like Tetris. Though, I play the Marvel comics game and Star Wars Lego games with my son and am getting pretty good. (yes, I know those are easy games)

I think it's a great place to meet new people as lame as that may seem. I have a lot of people that I consider friends online over Xbox 360 live. Two of the friends I have got married just last month. I played with both of them for three years or so and still do (one from Cali, other form Arizona). She is now 6 months pregnant and they have lived together for about a year now. It's really a great way to get to know people without worrying about appearance, you get to know them for who they are and have fun.
To all of you that don't know Xbox Live has a headset you wear that you can talk through while playing.
I know, I'm a big nerd, but what can I say, I'm happy with that. lol.

Tetris is a blast, it's defiantly better with competition online. Good times. I think you can do battle against 3 other people to see who last the longest. My kid likes Star Wars legos too. I didn't like the Marvel comics game, I love the movies though.

I didn't realize they had games like that online. I thought it was mainly the newer games like Halo, etc. I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, I heard it's the $hit. I only play PGR4 now, to busy with college, work, and of course my son. It has some incredible graphics.
Cool thing is you can watch HD Movies streamed over live. That's what I use it for now mostly.

Oh gosh, I used to be a huge gaming nerd. Hence my username.
I loved Final Fantasy 3 (or 6), 7, 8, and 9 a lot. Also, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Star Ocean, Final Fantasy Tactics, Suikoden I and II, Dead or Alive 2, the Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time and Link's Awakening, Kingdom Hearts, Skies of Arcadia, Xenogears...
and then some Mario games too, for good measure. I grew up on the Mario World games, and Bubble Bobble.
As far as PC games, I only ever got into Diablo II and Neverwinter Nights.
Sadly I sold my consoles, except for the original NES and SNES, because I started losing interest in video games, and wanted a more productive hobby. I still love them though
Oh, and a random confession: I have been to an anime/manga/video game convention before. It was fun, but oh wow I could have spent that money much more wisely.

i dont know why but now it seems like everyone plays vid. games, so its not really nerd-y, now if you programmed them or spent hours trying to decode them, then yea...you're a nerd.
I play my psp on a daily basis, well almost, going to-from school. Ps3 when i get home, the new Soul Calibur is AmAIZing btw.
ch-ch-ch-ch check it out!
SNES is pretty tits imo too

Vid Games on line are fun. As long you play with cool people.
The FPS aren't exactly the best place to meet friends /very competetive enviroment/ dominated by flaming teenagers.None the less XB360 have the friends lists where you can stay in touch with your preferable players.

I remember that game from waaayy back. Serious old skool stuff. Shame that the N64 only had afew good games to boost and kinda flopped. Goldeneye was a solid game.
I see afew woman are into gaming, what kinda games? Any fans of 'Gears of War', 'Dead Rising' and other hardcore killing games?

Yes, Yes, Yes! Video game addict here! I'd much rather lay video games than doing most other things, so I guess that makes me a little bit of a loser as well! :P
I LOVE......
Resident Evil Series (played every one at least a dozen times)
Grand Theft Auto Series (severely addicted to GTA4)
Manhunt (first one only, the sequel sucked)
all on Playstation btw.

Oh gosh, I played Outbreak, but I could never get past the level where you're being followed in a hospital. People kept telling me it wasn't difficult at all, but I failed pretty badly.
