Tuna?

Is a can of low sodium tuna Monday-Friday ok?

Or is that to much?

I'd like to know the answer here too...I eat a can of light tuna 1 hour before my workouts monday - saturday and have fish for dinner 2 times a week. lol. I would think it would be ok. The mercury in canned tuna is pretty low from what i've heard.

The light tuna has less mercury than the albacore, so supposedly it is safer to consume, and you can eat more of it more often.

I prefer the taste & texture of the albacore canned tuna, & I eat about 4 cans a week. It's prolly more than I should, but I don't care if I become a human thermometer or not. I'm a thrillseeker!!!!

I eat up to 12 oz PER DAY! I don't eat albacore though and I rinse all my tuna in hot water to get out excess sodium and some of the mercury....I am fine and since I only eat that much when cutting and I eat different protein in the off season, my body seems to be OK.

One of my meals at work has a can of light, low-sodium tuna... and that's five times a week, more if I use it as a snack on the weekends too.

Status: Wrist back in action - starting weights again tomorrow morning (light - don't want to re-injure!). On an IBS-friendly diet which is resulting in less sick days, and weight dropping (fricken YAY!)
