Fast food/Eating out> grilled chicken
I'm out with friends a decent amount and they always stop for fast food. At first I tried to stop going out with them, bringing my own meals, or even not eating with them. All of that became a pain in the ass. I'm wondering if there is anything unhealthy about ordering grilled chicken sandwiches and discarding the bread and just eating the chicken. There is usually a little mayo on the chicken which I try to wipe off, not gonna get too crazy about wiping it clean or anything, but whatever I can get off I'll get off. The idea is I order a grilled chicken sandwich and only eat the chicken and usually the salad that comes with it - usually without dressing.
Is that clean or do restaurants and fast food places find unhealthy ways to cook the chicken such that I'm better off bringing my own food if I want to eat clean?

It's more than fine, I eat out with friends at least twice a week (I'm cutting), and I still dropped 13 pounds in 7 weeks. It's all about being sensible and eating things in moderation. Just because you're eating out with friends doesn't mean you're scarfing down 2k calories in one shot, and trust me, a little grilled chicken sandwich with some mayo is usually barely over 500. If you feel more comfortable discarding the bun and the mayo, fine, but IMO you're just being nitpicky for no good reason. If you eat a little more than you normally would at that particular time of the day, then eat a little less for what remains. Just enjoy your meal out, man.

Wendy's has a lot of healthy options. That's where I go. And when I'm bulking nothing beats the triple cheeseburger.

You need to live your life. I'm not a Pro Bodybuilder, and the chances are good that your not either.
So take the advice given here, and just be sensible and you'll be fine. Trust me.

I agree. I hate it when people who workout and lift just to look better and increase their performance start getting soo nitpicky with their food that it makes it look like they have a show coming up a week from now.
Like it was said, your not a pro bodybuilder or a fitness model. Eat it and love it.
