The oatmeal looks delicous!! I eat it every morning...but normally only put strawberries and blueberries in!!!
I've always been curious about the veggie burgers. Do you like any of the boca burgers or morningstar products???

Add chocolate to your oatmeal! All it takes is a square or two.
Well the food I just posted was Morningstar. Most of their products aren't vegan but the ones that are can be either good or bad. I like their steak meal starters in stir-frys & their crumbles in the chili recipe on their site. I only have them once in a blue moon though because they don't use non-GMO soy.
And Boca isn't that good imo. I prefer Amy's over every veggie burger, nothing else comes close.
Lightlife make a lot of good products though. Definitely some of the best tasting & healthy meat-alternatives on the market. They make tempeh products too. You'd have to look for them in refrigerated foods, not frozen.

Thanks for the tips...I'll check out Amy's next time I'm at the store...I've always thought they would be easy for a quick dinner.

tattoo removal, eh? may I ask what mistake you made on your body? (mine is visible in my avatar.. guess which one makes me wish I could go back in time and slap my 19-year-old self!)

lol, stupid 19 year olds.
Just getting a tattoo period was a mistake. I should have looked at someone with a 20 year old tattoo before getting one, the start looking so blurry!

mmm that oatmeal looks fantabulicious!
I am possibly the only person who doesn't regret their tattoo (seeing as it was a gift from my dad, and is a replica of his). If it had any less meaning personally than it does, I would probabaly be hating it by now.
Is tattoo removal painful?

Aww, see that's sweet & thoughtful & something not to be regretted.
One of my tattoos is quite large & colorful, which make the removal hurt real bad and the single most painful experience of my life. My broken bone felt better.

your vegan vittles look so goooood....
yeah if you don't slather your tattoos with sunscreen they will look like big, grey-green blobs after a few years!
Yikes.. so the tattoo removal is that bad? The one I don't like is really big and colorful, too... its not that I don't like it completely, just one part of it has a really awkward shape that does NOT complement the shape of a breast whatsoever... I was thinking just hiring a really awesome artist to fix it up, but it looks a little impossible.. right now it is a red design with a thick, black outline.
But I actually have two other tattoos that I like very much! JUST DON'T EXPECT ME TO GET ANY MORE!!!
how much is the removal costing you?

Still on awful awful sleeping schedule 9am-5pm I have my first day of school tomorrow, from 7am to 5pm! How the hell can I pull that off?
Breakfast:
Mediterranean Chick-un & artichokes with whole-wheat couscous (threw the rest out, Morningstar products make my stomach hurt)
& a plum
Supplements: 1 GNC Big 150, 1 brazil nut & 1 Country Life Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc tablet
Lunch:
Amy's Texas Burger on sprouted Ezekiel bun
with tomatoes, avocado, romaine, onions & mustard
Supplements: 1 NuTru Omega-Zen 300mg DHA & 1 Country Life Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc tablet
I've been too stressed out over my sleep to cook. Same meals over & over
Workouts:
-A.M. Stretching
warm-up
static passive stretching
YAY! I worked out the knots in my thigh!

Black actually doesn't hurt much at all. It's green & blue that are painful. Red hurts a little more than black but not that bad.
I'm getting two tattoos (one is tiny & the other is about 2.5 palms) removed at once for $400 a treatment. The small one should be gone after my next (4th) treatment. The large one... who knows?

Jeez that sounds expensive as HELL!
I think I will just have to live with my mistake.. well.. how about we call it a "happy accident"?
Oh and after tonight I think I might have to reconsider being vegan.. I ate 4 small lambchops.. looked it up... 800 calories!!!! I don't think a veggie burger would have nearly that many!

I hate when time is precious and you have to resort to eating the same thing over and over again. plus I find, when I was vegan it was much easier to fall into that kind of rut because I had to pack my own food all the time and couldn't just buy out to get something different.
good job sticking out the painful tattoo removal. 2.5 palms of tattoo sounds mega.
good luck with making sleep and school work together.
oh and i LOVE brazil nuts!

I had a really rough and depressing day.
I'm not in the mood to log anything or reply to anyone. I did come home and make myself cookies and scheduled an appointment to dye my virgin hair, and I bought a camcorder. Hah, I ate and bought my way to not feeling so miserable.
Hopefully tomorrow will rock and pictures of Chocolate Chunk Spice Cookies will be posted.
Have a great day everyone!

It's only 7am but today is going fabulous! Woke up at 5, A.M. hah, no longer on that backwards sleeping schedule, and I made some orange roughy & shrimp!
And now I'm about to go do Legs
Breakfast:
Ryvita Sesame Rye crispbreads with mustard & pepperoni
& a Chocolate Chunk Spice cookie
Supplements: 1 brazil nut, 1 GNC Big 150 & 1 Country Life Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc tablet
PWO:
Fresh pineapple, frozen mango, flax seed oil & rice protein
Mini Vegan Pizza:
Hit up Whole Foods today (happens once in a blue moon), so I grabbed a personal pizza with...
Hummus, spinach, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts & black olives
Supplements: 1 Country Life Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc tablet & 1 NuTru Omega-Zen 300mg DHA
Workouts:
-Week 2: Lower Body Strength Dominant
warm-up/joint rotations
dynamic stretches
SUPERSET
1. RDL (100#+EZ x 6) x 4
2.DB Bulgarian Squats (50# x 6) x 4
SUPERSET
1. Explosive Sumo DL 30#+EZ x 8 / (40#+EZ x 8) x 3
2. Scissor Lunge Jumps 8 on each side x 4
GIANT SET
1. Standing Uni Leg Curl (25# x 10) x 3
2. Uni Leg Extension (25# x 10) x 3

You've never dyed your hair before? Its good to leave it in the hands of a professional.. i think box dye jobs always look monochromatic and blotchy... what color are you thinking of?

what camcorder and miniature food processor?
I need a new food processor, mine has been around for about 20 years when my mom bought it to puree foods for me to eat as a baby

I abbreviate a lot so you've probably heard of all of them.
Uni= unilateral
RDL= romanian deadlift

Oh no, I didn't have my natural color since the 6th grade until 6 years ago. I cut off my damaged waist length hair to a pixie cut to start fresh. Made a promise I wouldn't dye it until it got long again, and now it is! Haha, it's born again virgin hair!
I agree with you about at home dye jobs. But the colorist totally didn't do what I asked her to! I have blonde pieces running throughout my hair that I wanted. But then she gave me dark red lowlights, which I didn't ask for! And I wanted my base to be dark strawberry blonde, she didn't even change it issed off face:
I cried. I couldn't believe she did that. The salon is fixing it tomorrow.

hahah, a ~vintage~ processor
I bought a Canon ZR 900, it was the cheapest! I tried it out, it's really good for just basic shooting.
And a 3 cup Cusinart. I haven't used it yet, so hopefully it works well.

oh darn!!! I've cried about dye jobs before, too.. this woman gave me sort of violet-brown lowlights with blonde highlights.. when I had asked for plain brown with blonde.. anyway it looked crazy to me at first and I cried! (this coming from someone who used to dye her hair purple, pink, and black.. I was just ready for something normal at this point).. anyway the first few days I hated it, but some of the color faded to a pretty nice shade after all. I hope you get the color you want the second time around!

My hair was fixed! I love it!
It started out dark brown, now this is the true color (the relflection of lights made a couple of the pictures' colors off)
And some full head shots (looks much darker than it actually is)
Now I just need to get it cut.
