I have the EXACT same problem as you. Literally, the EXACT same.
It feels like the tendon under the left arm near the elbow and tricep starts to click and pop with a pain when doing skullcrushers right?
I had that issue too, but I just cut skullcrushers out of my routine and replaced it with CGBP and everything has been fine since. Hopefully over time it will recover so I can go back to skullcrushers since it's a great exercise imo, but definitely don't let it stop you from BB. Try working around it and see if that works, it did for me.

What? You're not training at all because your elbow hurts? This must be a joke.

I had the same problem, except it was hurting when doing overhead tricep extensions.I'm not sure what you mean by weak feeling, the pain did start out as just uncomfortable,as time went on it started to get more intense.
I took a few days off, started taking fish oil, changed up my tricep workout, lowered the weight and upped the reps, and the problem was solved.

glucosamine? i have read a few studies that states that you need like 10x as much as a normal serving if not more for any effect. dont take it as truth, just from some studies

glucosamine works wonders.. so does glutamine.. glutamine restores your bodys natural joint lubricator.. dont listen to all the idiots saying it doesnt do anything.. i suggest animal pak. its a full joint complex supplement.

I would suggest getting a good fish oil supplement to reduce inflammation. You may have tendinitis.
The reason the body is easily inflamed is because of a diet rich in omega 6's. The average piece of beef has a 40-1 ratio of omega 6's to omega 3's (assuming it is fed on corn, thus making it the average piece of beef).
Omega 6's are inflammatory while omega 3's are not.

More like a 4:1 ratio, which is typically agreed upon as being acceptable.
Anyway, take some damn NSAIDs and train around the ****.

The guy who mentioned going slow on the negatives; completely correct!
Use two arms to pull down the tricep extension cable, then use one arm to pull up. This helped out with my tendonitis. You may not have tendonitis, though!

I didn't get a week feeling really, it just hurt when I would do skullcrushers and overhead tricep extension with a db. I took a week off from doing tris, came back, did my same routine, and it still hurt.
So I just completely took out overhead and skullcrushers, and I still get a great workout from tris and no pain at all. It seems like your pain is a bit worse than mine, so try taking out the exercises that hurt it and replace it with new ones, or are you saying all tri exercises hurt it?

i major in this at school. since you have already taken off which is good, instead of jumping right back into your old routine.. you need to ease back into it.. use compound exercises and don't use too much weight so you wont get hurt again.. its a progression.. also you should ice it after each gym session and get a good warm up before, a really good idea is to put a heating pad on it for 15 to 20 minutes before you hit the gym.

Haha, I have the exactly same problem at the moment. My arms feel really weak and today after a week of rest so that the arms could recover, I first did some bench. I was fine, but when i tried skull crushers my arms and delts failed... I think I'll have to cut the crushers from my work out..

I used to have it from when I done freerunning :]
I would stay away from pull ups or skull crushers for a little while. Pull ups would be fine to go back to after like 4 weeks but I would stay away from skull crushers haha. When I lifted I replaced skull crushers with Bench Dumbbell tricep extensions.
Worked a treat, helps out your lats, shoulders and upper chest as well =] But for real, the tricep gains they give are wicked.

it is called vaginitis... locate your nearest urgent care contact them immediately. death is preventable, but inevitable side effects include: sore/itchy privates, whiney attitude, etc.
sorry i don't hate you i just wanted to make that joke

What you may have is tricep tendonosis. You can do searches here at bodybuilding.com for it. If you have it (and some bone/joint doctors aren't aware of it and will diagnose it wrong at tedonitis which isn't the same). I believe Dr. Ryan has an article on it. SkullCrushers are really really hard on your tricep and the tricep tendon in general. I have tricep tendonosis, and you just have to work at it. Some weeks you can do skullcrushers, some weeks you can't. If I can be of any other assistance, please feel free to email me.
Thanks,
