Question INTERESTING... thoughts?

OK, so Muscletechs whole gimic on creakic hardcore is that it blocks Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) on creatine transport... Wich in turn is supposed to make creatine the greatest thing sinse Dianabol.... So I did a search on ROS and found out that (Valsartan), the key ingredient in the blood pressure medicine Diovan, is an extreme ROS blocker. So if what muscletech claims is true, then screw their BS ingredient, how about some Diovan???

ROS are essentially oxidants, radicals, and superoxide. What blocks this? The answer is simple, antioxidant(s).

And if you look at the Supp Facts panel there are the antioxidants all dolled up in some terminology MT is betting you don't have the smarts to spot:

that first compound Creatine 6,8-thiotic acid blah blah blah

thiotic acid= good old alpha lipoic acid, a potent antioxidant found in a million products, very inexpensive, could just as easily be taken separately with a creatine supplement in what ever amount you choose.

The next compound contains cucuma longa, which is turmeric, which contains curcuminoids, those have antioxidant properties too. Also cheap and available ala carte.

Maybe it`s not optimal to inhibit formation of ROS at all...

Response and adaptation of skeletal muscle to exercise--the role of reactive oxygen species.

In the last 30 years, the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in exercise physiology has received considerable attention. Acute physical exertion has been shown to induce an augmented generation of ROS in skeletal muscle via different mechanisms. There is evidence that ROS formation in response to vigorous physical exertion can result in oxidative stress. More recent research has revealed the important role of ROS as signaling molecules. ROS modulate contractile function in unfatigued and fatigued skeletal muscle. Furthermore, involvement of ROS in the modulation of gene expression via redox-sensitive transcription pathways represents an important regulatory mechanism, which has been suggested to be involved in the process of training adaptation. In this context, the adaptation of endogenous antioxidant systems in response to regular training reflects a potential mechanism responsible for augmented tolerance of skeletal muscle to exercise-induced stress. The present review outlines current knowledge and more recent findings in this area by focussing on major sources of ROS production, oxidative stress, tissue damage, contractile force, and redox-regulated gene expression in exercising skeletal muscle. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/en...ubmed_RVDocSum

Wait is that real or are you ass-busting? I did not see who get picked and I didn't appy so I'm if they pulled an IBE sorta thing when they were looking for reps, that is rediculous. Plus, I only do logs of products I would actually buy with a good profile; I openly admit that I would not buy nano vapor nor much else of their product line. Maybe I would try creakic or gakic because Dan liked them so much, but I don't ever picture them offering logs for that.

Don't screw around with prescription BP medicine. Unless you want a heart attack before the age of 30?
