I am not bulking, I am trying to cut, sorry I should have mentioned that.
I tried oats once, just the plain quaker oats, but the consistency made me vomit, I could not eat them without gagging.
I also cut back from from the good whey to the EAS 100% Whey that is $13 a tub.
I am going to see if I qualify for food stamps or any sort of assistance.

I'm pretty much in debt because of my health obsession and not being able to find a job. Finding a doctor to fix my health problems didn't help either since my insurance won't cover it and it's 2hrs away. I just recently got a job but it will still take forever to make enough to eat every week and pay off some debts from that along with other crap because the economy sucks ass. Gas and everything else went up, unhealthy people are getting more unhealthy because they're buying even cheaper and ****tier foods. I see people who shop at the dollar store for eggs, frozen dinners and juices.. and they're all fat and just unhealthy looking in general.
Just try and keep it simple. I used to buy like Quaker Oats and Starkist Tuna at Target..which was cheaper than regular grocery stores. Order your protein powder online from somewhere you can buy in bulk. Get fruit or vegetables from "local" farmers markets.

Did you guys not read my post about oats? Last time I tried to eat them, I puked, I cannot handle the consistency or something.
Is there a better way to cook them than in the microwave with some water? They were just too thick.
I bought some natural PB but it was like $4 for the small tub at sunflower market.

You could try some rice, that's cheap, and has a different consistency than oats.

You have a poor understanding of reality. Pot can be a major contributor to GAD, despite your perception of the matter. How long you been smoking for and how long you had GAD. Also, who diagnosed you with GAD?

That is not true, I have had GAD for 3-4 years (yes diagnosed by a real doctor) but I have only been smoking for 1-2 years, I found pot was the best way to help, and it has not gotten worse, if anything my GAD is not as bad as it used to be.
I have tried many medicines over the years, and SSRI's really killed my sex drive, pot has been the best thing yet.

SERIOUS POST- No flamewar
I have a similar background with GAD. When I was in college I used to smoke a lot. I really found smoking to make me more nervous. Once I stopped, it got better. SSRI's didn't work for me. The side's weren't worth it for something that didn't work well at all.
I've had better luck with other things.

I never get nervous, I just worry a lot, about things I don't need to worry about, and I just get myself overly stressed and then I can't sleep if I get too stressed out, so I found smoking right before bed to help a lot.
What worked for you?

just cook them with more water and then they won't be so thick. Also you don't really need you PB to be the natural kind, it's better for you but regular is still good for you, just has a little vegetable oil and sugar/corn syrup added, if you can save alot of money buying the regular go for it

How come no one one this forum eats beans?!
Dried beans & lentils are 5 cents a serving & full of nutrients, fiber & PROTEIN. Can't go wrong with them.

Eating healthy is SO MUCH cheaper than eating crap...whether it's fast food, or microwave dinners or whatever.
Big bag of oats - $2.50
Tuna - $.70 a can
Beans - $0.50 a can
Rice - $2 a bag
Eggs - $2 a carton
Cottage Cheese - $2.50/500g
Cheese - $5 for a big slab
Frozen veggies - $2 a bag
Get whatever meat is on sale, shop around for that bit (find the cheapest for your staples...I live near a Walmart Supercenter so I'm always stocked up on the above stuff) when it's something I like I buy big and freeze it.

I'm in a similar situation man. Here's what I buy to save cash.
-Dry beans. Anywhere from .80-1.00 a pound and they expand so they're really cheaper than that.
-Rice. Really cheap and versatile, again it's a food that expands so you're getting more than you think.
-Eggs. Pretty cheap and last much longer than most perishable food items. Get a blender and then you'll be looking at some real versatility.
-Peanut butter. Great bang for your buck in terms of calorie per dollar.
-Chicken thighs. Remove all the skin and bones and they really aren't all that bad in terms of fat content. About 7.5g of fat and 18g of protein per 4oz serving.
-Oats. Horses eat em and just look at horses. Case closed.
Other than that stuff man I highly suggest you sign up for the sale papers at every grocery store in your area and plan your pay checks around meat sales. It's not the most glamorous or exciting way to spend a Sunday afternoon but you gotta do what you gotta do.

If you have money issues, why would you buy food from Walgreens, esp $4 for peanuts? Go to Wal-mart or other cheap stores and buy it for less money. If gas is expensive and Walgreens is much closer, why don't you plan a grocery list and shop a lot at once
