Not sure how far Milford is from you, but Southside Barbell Club is there. Drew23 here works out over there.

I was going to suggest Drew as well. There are a lot of APA lifters in CT, do a google on that and you might be able to hook up w/ some lifters.

Southside Barbell in Milford is the place to be. Matt Rhodes lives in Greenwich and travels to Southside to train, I live in Waterbury and a lot of the guys travel at least 30 miles to train there. It's absolutely worth it. PM me for info if you want to come down. We train bench every Friday night starting at about 5 and we're usually there until about 9 or so. A lot of the guys squat on Saturday morning (I don't).
Phil Halliwell used to own Hollywoods in Fairfield, but he closed it about 2 years ago.

Yeah, I wasn't able to attend, but we did have Josh and Karsten competing from our bench group. I know Vincent, Matt, Brian and Gary were all there helping out. We really have a great group and a very strong team.

yeah didnt Josh do 515 on the bench? and Karsten did 265
I was trying to get drop some weight but didnt get down to 220 in time, so I ended up going up to the 242's. I ended up winning but I started way to light

That's correct. That was Josh's first meet back since breaking his forearm last year attempting a 550 bench. It was also Karsten's first meet.

Rob McCray benched 900 at SHW in July
Eric Fetzer benched 715 at SHW in the same meet (Just missed 750)
Vincent Dizenzo Posted a raw 600 last year and has an 800 bench both at SHW (He's also going to be competing at a show at the Olympia in Vegas, it's a bench press for 2 reps contest)
Matt Rhodes is close to 600 on the bench and barely missed 1000 on the squat at his last meet. I think he's 308 right now.
