Just got my camera charger on the mail, can I still join this? Where do I post the pics?
EDIT - Just updated my BodySpace page with today's pictures
http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/Sc...n=progresspics
I am ashamed to say this is how I look now
The pic on my avatar is how I used to look 2 years ago (my peak was 4 years ago). Perfect contest to make me push myself to become what I used to be!

Anyone do cardio last night? I was supposed to...got home and found out my kids were not in bed like they were supposed to be for school...Read my son a story, argued with the wife ... didnt get to bed till 3 am... Hopefully tonight is a better night for me. I was supposed to do 40 min of cardio last night

i've come to realize the best cardio to burn fat and keep muscle mass is the stepmill aka deathmill. its harsh but burns fat fast. i love the treadmill. simple and easy. full 15.0 incline, 4.0-4.3 mph. i average about 15 calories a minute. as long as you arent breathing hard yet its still hard and your still sweating its burning fat and not muscle. when you breath hard the oxygen is being used for your muscles and not to assist with fat burning. (nurse in progress here, i ask many many questions in anatomy and physiology lol)

Got up at six this morning and went to the gym instead of going after work. Did an hour on the treadmil @ 5.1 then some leg workouts. I might try the deathmil lol tomorrow morning and see how I feel, maybe rotate between the two.

That's a great point my man. I love doing stairs (i know i'm wierd) but its because i can hit my calves good too. And thanks for the point about breathing hard. I think that goes hand in hand with keeping down your HR under 120 bpm. SHould be breathing too hard at that rate. Great post man!

hy guys
Just wanted to say that i'm very pleased with the communication and criticism that everyone has been giving and getting. I think this is going to power us through each of our own individual challenges and fuel us to train harder and smarter.
Keep it up everyone!

Well the way that helps me out is to eat ceral in the morning or fruits and for lunch lean cousine with less than 400 calories and at night veggies or fruits .i am not really detailed my dieting yet but i hope to sooner or later . i am hitting the gym 6 days a week and just doing cardio trying to burn more than 1000 calories a day and than a little bit of lifting . Am new to the whole working out thing especially to the proper way .
any suggestions or comments that could help i would appericate it thanks

1000 calories a day!
You need to start eating WAY more than that. There are calorie calculators on here. I would say start with 12X your body weight 256....you come up with like 3000. that will maintain your weight. Then subtract 500. your down to 2500. From there its all about cardio. 45 min EVERY day. Drink at least a gallon of water a day. Don't get discouraged. Your body might not react for a week or two. just keep it up

first weeks progress
Just wanted to post a quick update. I am down about 6 pounds from last week this same exact time of day. Pretty good for me considering I am still trying to figure out how to exercise with a knee that requires very low impact exercises. Tough to do cardio and leg exercises! I am pretty happy with progress so far. Hopefully I can put off another 5-6 pounds this coming week!

just join bro. makesure you post stats and pics. Good news, I am leaning out slowly and putting on muscle. Weighed myself after I jogged this morning and I am up to 197. I can see a difference in my definition and size so I am happy. How's everyone else doing. I might post new pics this weekend too.
