All I know is what's been posted here and what friends have told me. I respect that the announcement should come from MT and BodySpace, so even if I knew (and I don't) I wouldn't spoil the surprise.

Thank you, Victor.
But, uh, "within the next week" doesn't mean within this week, does it?
GOOD GRIEF! Do you mean "within the next week" as in the FOLLOWING week?! We could all be dead by then.
You've never heard of the phrase "Dying of suspense!"???
(sigh)

But which calendar are you using?
He said "within the next week" which, yeah, isn't too specific.

I got this announcement document from Victor today, here it is:
================
"The Biggest Contest in Bodybuilding History: The results are in for the MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest presented by BodySpace."
In early March 2008, MuscleTech?, the world’s #1 sports supplement brand, teamed up with Bodybuilding.com and BodySpace, the world’s most visited bodybuilding website. Together, these industry heavyweights announced the biggest contest in bodybuilding history – the MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest presented by BodySpace – and with it, one of the most lucrative prize packages:
• $25,000
• A year’s supply of MuscleTech? supplements from Bodybuilding.com
• $1,000 worth of MuscleTech clothing
• A VIP trip to Las Vegas, Nevada to see the 2008 Mr. Olympia
• A day with 2-time Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler
• The opportunity to be featured in a major bodybuilding magazine
When news hit the Bodybuilding.com message boards, they lit up with excitement.
Challenges were laid and the competition began to heat up almost instantly. And beginning on March 24, 2008, 1,147 bodybuilders and diehard fitness fanatics committed to a full-blown, total-body musclebuilding transformation. Over the next few weeks the official contest thread grew to more than 2,200 posts spread across more than 75 pages. The contest blog filled with transformation photos and personal journals from contest entrants documenting their transformations.
16 weeks later, the entrants had given their sweat and tears and adopted a lifestyle that’s on par with that of some of the world’s top pro bodybuilders. Without a doubt, they’ve earned a place among those elite athletes.
Of course, Team MuscleTech™ is upholding its end of the bargain and awarding the winner with the best prize package in bodybuilding contest history. But most importantly, Team MuscleTech wants to thank everyone who entered. Your character defines the very reason Team MuscleTech exists – to continuously research, develop, patent and produce the most effective diet and sports supplements for bodybuilders everywhere. Win or lose, be proud of yourselves!
First-Place Prize Winner:
rescuemadden
Second-Place Prize Winners:
db2012
Shawnyb
jeromedinh
Due to an overwhelming response, we’ve also decided to award the remaining top-ten competitors with $1,000 in MuscleTech supplements from Bodybuilding.com. That’s right! In addition to the $1,000 they will receive, the second-place prize winners will also get $1,000 in MuscleTech supplements. Also, the remaining top ten finalists will receive $1,000 in MuscleTech supplements.
Remaining Top-Ten Finalists:
Ashleykesner
Harvestworker
CSuponcic
specialkr
ANiMaliZtIk
cmanlittle
Honorable Mention:
nquinn922
A special honorable mention goes to nquinn922, who will also receive $1,000 in MuscleTech supplements from Bodybuilding.com.

Congrats!
Congrats to everyone! Very awesome of MuscleTech to give out some supps to the top ten! I was hoping they would do that for a while now. I feel honored to have won with such a great field of competitors. I am now changing my career to a fitness oriented business and have completed studying the NASM Cert course. I want to help others achieve the same!
Thank you MuscleTech and Bodybuilding.com for a life changing contest!

Thanks for FINALLY revealing the winners. Congratulations to ALL who placed. I'm glad to see MuscleTech added winners because there were some great transformation in this contest.
For example... I thought RescueMadden lost a lot of belly (he did), but check out the year-long progress of the guy that got an honorable mention (if you haven't already):
http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/nq...n=progresspics
That's 105 lbs lost in a year (that's persistence)! Great job nquinn922. Good luck with your contest in September.
Congrats again to all that placed AND to all that competed. Keep on Liftin'!!!!
Later,
-Rev.
