OT: my dog got hit by a car today
got a message today from a guy I didn't know saying he thought my dog was at the local vets after being hit by a car
Went and saw him,the assistant there told me they thought he had broken his back,as I approached his cage and he saw who I was he stood up and limped holding one leg off the ground.
The assistant looked at me and said "wow,he wouldn't do that before".
So they are now hoping its only a broken pelvis.
Waiting on the phone call now

Sorry to hear
Beautiful dog. I feel for you. We have our first puppy and she is so much a part of our family after only a short few weeks. Take care and good luck. Prayers for a quick heal.

What a cool looking dog!!! Hope he's okay!
It looks like he's saying "This is MY love seat, what you lookin' at? Ouch, hey, quit it, that flash hurt my eyes!"

This is why I don't do pets. Too much heartache.
Glad the mutt is on the mend.
That said, the wife wants a dog after Christmas, which I'm not too happy about.
Last animals we had were cats which didn't settle into our new house with a new baby. I was the one blubbing like a small girl when I had to hand them over.
Too much emotions for me.........

That's cool. Not the hit by a car part, but the part where your dog jumped up for ya. that is so cool, it's amazing how a pet just loves their owner.
