Advice needed please!
Hi All,
I have been training for 8 months now and my stomach has gone down very little. I am always bloated
and full of gas. I train 6 days a week and do cardio for 30 mins after each workout + I skate for 2
hours everyday so I dont think I need to do more cardio. It has gotten to the point when I dont even
want to go to gym anymore.
My meals:
9am: Brown bread with peanut butter
10am: Protein shake
1pm: Cold meats and fruit
4pm: Protein shake
8pm: Chiken or Fish with veggies
The only thing I can think of that keeps my stomach bloated is my protein shake that consists of :
AMOUNT PER SERVING (I take it twice a day with milk)
Calories: 120
Total fat: 2g
Cholesterol: 40mg
Sodium: 60mg
Potassium: 160mg
Total Carbohydtrate: 3g
Protein 22g
I also have fluctuation problems... All opinions and advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Is there a chance you have a mild allergy to something in what you're eating, like milk or bread? Could also just be a slow digestive transit - have you tried taking probiotic yoghurts or yoghurts created to aid digestive transit?

You posted this before but you added more info this time. Instead of milk, use water and see how your stomach react to it.

Yeah, try that yogurt with fiber in it, or try some metamucil.
I second trying the protein shake out with water. Maybe try not drinking your protein shakes and see if you still have the problem. Try switching up things in your diet to see if that'll help.
Also, worse comes to worse, there are anti-gas and bloating medicines, like Beano.

Are you taking creatine mono? It can cause bloating.
Also, try cutting out the milk and maybe taking some Gas-X
