Oh you're out at Fort "We gotcha":-) It's not that bad...imagine it back in 1991. Everything in town was on Fry Blvd...everything else around Fry Blvd was like the boonies. I'm sure it's much different now. Keep your head up and make the best of it...it won't last forever. It may even grow on you:-)

hey Ebonx
you go to the actual combatives school?
I see a bunch of little kids around here....actually IET, MI guys, that get level one certified by a guy that barely knows what hes doing and go out and buy Combatives instructor t-shirts.
Im not tryin to call you out. Im actually assuming that you are for real.
I bet you don't have to deal with that crap in Benning though.
I went off on this soldier in my detatchment for wearing a combatives instructor t-shirt. He went through a level one course (Platoon Level) got certified and thought he was an instructor. Didn't even have to do the clench drill.
Anyways.
rock on man

I started Martial art and wrestling when I was 3 and had no clue what i was doing and wrestled all the way to 19 and I still do martial ars. Back in 01 when i got in to my actual unit I destroyed there level 3 instructor and he recommended me to the Benning Combatives course to be an instructor.
I got stationed here and then it was annotated on my papers about the combative's so I went and did up to level 3 and it was a joke and when I teach my soldiers I show them My Own Routines. Gotten in trouble by 2 CSM for not following the gay standard.
Then 2 years ago I Got pull by a BG that had heard about me and then I went to Ft.Stewart were they did a lvl 4 and 5 class that was very exclusive to Brazilian Jujitsu and so I'm a Level 5 instructor and a 1st degree black belt in Ninpokai.

outstanding
that is what is needed. I am only a certified level one (like the rest of the Army) and I took a level two course, but never certified. I did it for fun more than anything. I wish there were some real combatives guys here to straighten some stuff out. Some of these guys will never fight (in the ring or sandbox) and go to the gym in a combatives instructor T-shirt.
I have had the privlege of Meeting Tim Kennedy and training with Tom Lisle. And I just hate seeing the guys around here.
Anyways. Im done ranting about that stuff. Good job on your accomplishments. It was funny to see Combatives listed next to the family readiness group. Both are wicked hardcore.
rock on.

"I am 32 years old, and this is a real deployed built body!"
I am deployed in Iraq for the third time. Only a few more months out of the fabulous 15, and I love my world..I love to train and train hard. At 144lBS to start with out here, I felt it was a mixed signal of fitness. So, three months later..I am 165 and only going up. "Be the Standard".

If anyone is interested...
If anyone is interested in assisting me in improving a site I launched in an effort to discourage drunk driving, please Log onto:
https://www.us.army.mil/suite/page/578097
This site was created in response to protecting our Soldiers and Leaders from making a decision that effects everyone. If we can prevent one, this site will be successfull.
Please keep in mind it is new, and still requires more work and good ideas to better this effort. Thanks

Former Marine in the National Guard
Hello, I did 5 years in the Marines and joined the Georgia Air National Guard. I am currently just getting back into the gym after a 3 year layoff. I am eligible for promotion to E-6, I just have to pass a PT test. I have just recently started my Bodyblog and I hope to be posting pics up very soon. Thanks for your support. To all those currently deployed or deploying very soon, thanks for all you do.
