35L - Counter Intel, usually a great job.
35N - Signal Analysis, good job but very strategic.
35M - Human Intelligence Collector, good job, if you like cohersing people into telling you things (I am considering re-classing to this myself).
35S - Signal Intercept, good job usually very tactical. Work with a lot of electronics gear
35F - IMO, DO NOT WANT - Possibly the most boring of all MI jobs.

Did you get a lot out of that course? Was it worth the 6 weeks? I have been offered a slot for BIC this winter, and I will probably go, just wondering if it is going to be a good course or an average military school.

All universities will give you the EQ on credits, but most of them will charge a hefty fee. It is not free, unless you have it in BLACK AND WHITE on your contract that it will be free! There was a college in TX that wanted to charge me $360 to convert my MOS...

What's your MOS? Do you have any installer experience? Do you know AC/DC wiring (not the rock group!), I did install work in Korea at the 251st SIG DET in Korea, so for me it was easy. I got the Honor Grad (lil kick in my chest...) but there were a few people that got sent home.
What I got from the class was the correct way to do installs. A lot of safety issues (they gig you for anything that is a safety concers ie. One of my guys left a zip-tye without cutting the end, automatic 10% off the entire group grade!) If you have no experience, you learn a lot, I think sometimes that there is a lot of Info for only 6 weeks.

I want to thank you guys for what you do everyday! On the Front lines and at Home! I find it to be a great pleasure when I get to work with talk to any of you. I was deployed to Balad last year and had a great experience work with some of the army personal working logistics. And being stationed at Pope/Ft.Bragg I'm proud to be apart of the training missions the 82nd take part in on a daily basis.

That is 100% completely untrue. Some MOS's have an ACE (American Council of Education) 'recommended equivalent credits' for some Army schools. That includes AIT, BNCOC, ANCOC etc. LINK to ACE FAQ
If you are enrolled in a college, you can go to AARTS and have an official military school transcript sent to your school for free. Assuming you are a student already, they will award you credits based on your training. This is usually free for enrolled students. Almost any university will do the same thing if you are not a student for a fee, usually $25-$50 dollars. For example, I am enrolled at Franklin University, I had my AARTS transcript sent to them, they evaluated it, and awarded me approximately 25 credit hours for my MOS AIT training. I did not pay extra for this service because I am enrolled at that school through EArmyU. I know other soldiers that paid a fee to have the same evaluation done at schools they were not enrolled in, because others schools may be more generous in their evaluations, and then transferred the credits to the school they are enrolled in.
If you want to see the number of recommended credits for your MOS, or an MOS you are considering, you can go HERE. Enter your MOS code in the Occupational Designator field and hit 'Search'.
ACE had not kept up with all of the Army changes in MOS codes, so the new MOS code may come up as 'Evaluation Pending'. For example, my MOS, 25B, show as as 'Evaluation Pending', but if I search for '74B' (the old MOS code) it comes up.
If you do not know the old code, or cannot locate it, you can go to this alternate site HERE and search AIT courses by location.

If anyone here was ever denied from the Army due to a medical issue and was granted a waiver, I would greatly appreciate it if you would please share your experience with me itt or via pm. I am jumping through hoops for a medical waiver.

I had one seizure when I was younger, like 6. So I wrote an appeal and I am getting an opinion from a neurologist. I was denied initially and then they told me I could appeal for a waiver.

stuff like that my recruiter just said to not bring it up. Like I had asthema when I was kid but I havent used an inhaler for like 10 years so I just said no I never had asthema, as far as getting one now just have a doctor check you out and make sure everything is cool. I had to get a waiver for my knee I had surgery on, just got the surgical records and a statement from the ortho who did it that I was back at 100%

I love how recruiter do that.
I've always had an issue with my hand from punching to many things. my right pinky knuckle is like, permanently destroyed. I brought it up, then i hear.... "son, do you WANT to be part of the Army? do you WANT in?... then dont bring up that puss ****".
