I'm getting more and more determined with each week. Have to say that looking at all the incredible transformations here is the most motivating thing in the world. It's one thing to grow up looking at M&F and wanting to look like Gaspari or Haney... it's another to see regular guys who took slabs of fat and turned themselves into ferocious rhinos. The first is inspiring... the second strips away any stupid loser excuses I might have for not doing it myself. (Grin)
I just finished Week Four. Unfortunately I don't have starting pics; the earliest I have is End of Week Two. So these pics represent exactly 14 days of hard work. I will say that the changes seem to be accelerating - in other words, the difference over the last two weeks is greater than the difference between start and end of Week Two. My "review" of new physique is going to take place over the New Year's Eve period. Chickeebaby and I are going on VACATION together with new bodies. (YEAH!)

I know I need to lose a whole crapload of fat off this frame before I can really get any sense of what's underneath. I added HIIT to my cardio today. Damn, it's a lot harder. But I found it made the cardio go a lot faster. 30 min cardio, 8 incline, 4mph, and every four minutes I'd up to a 6mph run for a minute. I can continue to increase the sprint and shorten the intervals as I get in better and better shape.
My schedule for the last month has been 30 min cardio at about 5:15am, followed by weights... and another 30 min cardio at about 5:30pm, followed by weights again. I'm downing a protein shake at the gym directly after my workouts, and supplementing very carefully (actually tracking calories in + out extremely closely). Working on flexibility too:
Posing is hard work! It's difficult to hold everything in the right place for more than a few moments at this stage. I'm going to hire a personal trainer in January to teach me how to pose properly, assuming I'm down to the 220lbs/8% fat goal I'm hammering myself towards. Below is a "pose" (what would you call this?) at End of Week Four:
Welcome comments from anyone... especially bodyfat percent estimations from folks (I know what I've been calipered at, but don't necessarily trust the calipers so would love some blind feedback).
And check out Chickeebaby's blog. She's making absolutely incredible changes... I'm incredibly proud of her:
