possibly have arthritis in both hips

So my hips have been hurting me since March, and I have gone to four doctors, a chiropractor, and two surgens about this. Then last week I go into to see a orth. surgen about my hips, because from what everyone said i had a torn tendon. Yeah okay.... first is was a pulled muscle, then a hernia, then how about a torn tendon, and i told the surgen this. So he had me go do a MRI and said I have built up fluid in both my hip joints. He also said by my X-rays and crap my joint looks ok (or at least the bones do. So he tells me i might have arthritis and so i had a blood test, and am now waiting on the results. Im worried that if it is arthritis does this mean that my days of leg work are gone. I am 21 and bbing is what I do. Hell I base my life from it. Im a manager at a gym now, and my goal is to one day open up my own gym and stuff. So are my leg days over? If not what can I do so it does not hurt them any worse than they are? Thanks for the help, and I will keep you guys posted on everything that I find out.

Cliffs;
Went to alot of doctors,surgens, etc and they have told me diff. things. Now possible arthritis in hips.

Only 21, are leg days numbered, can I do them any more? If so what would be good?

Relax man. Do not panic. The drugs they have for arthritis are pretty damn good these days. It may take a while for them to go through some drug regimens but you will get there.

Treatment depends on the type of arthritis and the severity. I was laid up for over a year and am now just getting back to being able to do hardcore athletic maneuvers like "walking". I'm starting to recover: three weeks ago I could not do a single bodyweight squat, yesterday I did 3x5 with the bar (45lbs). Sure my rehab is slow, painful and sucky, but I lost a lot of strength sitting on my ass for a year. You sound like your problems pale in comparison so relax and have no fear. My arthritis was in both knees, my left ankle, and my left hip. I had to try a few different meds due to complications and that caused a LOT of problems.

If you do have arthritis, let me know what type it is. If you have good medical insurance, and cheaper remedies do not work, the expensive TNF alpha blockers (about $1500 / mo - Remicade, Humira & Enbrel) will fix you right up if you have osteoarthritis.

What's up with our age group? I, too, was diagnosed with arthritis. My S.I. joint (I thought it was my hip, but I'd never heard of the sacro illyiac*sp* joint). That's what got me to the doctor. It was popping generally just hurting after walking for awhile.

OP That sucks dude. I have arthritis in both collar bones, but i dont let it get in the way of training my chest or shoulders. And now that i take really good medication its become really easy to live with. See a rheumatologist and they should look after you

Have you tried all the supplements e.g. Super Cissus RX, Fish oil, Glucosamine, Animal Flex - they should all help.
