Cardio!! Help!!

I am having a hell of a time trying to get my cardio in, I have no trouble with weight training, which I do six days a week but when it comes to cardio I just cant get motivated.

I have bad shin splints so the treadmill, jumping rope or outside running is a no go but I do have a bike and an elliptical machine...any suggestions to get me going? I need to burn some of this fat layer off now so it will be easier come comp time.

Do the elliptical with HIIT training.

Not sure what my goals are just trying to stay healthy and I would say get a bit more definition.

Hey they easy thing to do and the best I have found is the eliptical. Get yourslf a portable DVD or some good tunes and go. I try to keep my mind off the time and the pain by filling it with somthing else.

I will have to suck it up and hit the elliptical then, I have such a hard time staying motivated on it but I will do my best!

Try a HIIT cardio routine. They typically would last about 20-25 minutes max and are only done a max of 3 times a week. Your motivation should come from the weight you want to shed off. Put on your mp3 player and do the cardio for 20 minutes. It's not all that long if you do it right.

Take progress pictures along the way or treat yourself to something that you like every time you complete a full week without skipping a cardio routine. Do your cardio with a friend, husband or boyfriend. Set goals for yourself as in target weight, or distance ran in x amount of time, etc.
