you could have cheese cake done with low fat cream cheese and it would be 100% healthier than that concoction with cool whip.. what's so cool about that anyway?
that stuff should be freaking banned
Ingredients
Cool Whip is made of water, corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oil (CPKO), sodium caseinate, vanilla extract, xanthan and guar gums, polysorbate 60 (glycosperse), and beta carotene.

no it does melt but it gets weird and liquidy, it works better if it's well drained it has too much moisture

I keep my fruit seperate from the cc.
I buy Del Monte fruit naturals for 59 cents a cup from Food 4 Less shopping centers. Safeway sells for 2 bucks? Fred Myer $1.29. I buy Pineapple or Peaches and don't like they way it looks if mixed...

whizz it up with fruit and make a mousse:
or my favourite whizzed with pumpkin, sprinkled with finely grated dark choc then in the freezer for ice cream:

Great ideas for making cc taste better! I am going to try that pumpkin chocolate ice cream idea! Now that looked great!

I love the stuff mixed with Sriracha sauce which is a garlic/chili condiment that you can find in the Oriental section of the market. Try it, you'll like it if you like hot spicy stuff.
The garlic is supposed to be good for you too and the chili releases endorphins. (unintended benefits!)

It sounds strange, but I'm actually hooked on it now and I eat it everyday for breakfast. I use either some mashed up banana with it or a little bit of pineapple. You're right, it works great.

I've been using Smuckers sugar free strawberry preserves on my cottage cheese for years.
It's become my sweet treat for the day, and I have to disipline myself to keep from going overboard on how much I add.

I never thought of freezing it. I get the no-fat with chunks of pineapple and it's nice and sweet as is. Now, when you freeze it, do you blenderize it or just kinda swirl/mash it up by hand with whatever you're adding to it?
I like the idea of an ice cream substitute. I tried throwing yogurt in the freezer but it just isin't the same.

Try this:
1 FF yogurt
1 tbsp non-akaline cocoa powder
1 stevia packet
1 scoop chocolate protein
1/4 cup granola
Mix everything in a ceramic/metal bowl together except the granola & put in the coldest part of the freezer. In about 45 minutes remove, stir/break up & stir in granola. Return to freezer for 5-10 minutes.
This taste a LOT like a Nestle Crunch frozen yogurt. I have this as a meal 2x day. Its my bedtime meal.

I hate cottage cheese....unless its done up like the following.
two parts CC
one part fat free vinilla yogut
one large banana
splenda to taste.
Taste just like a banana pudding...love the stuff.

I use this awesome mini processor
but you could just use any type of hand mixer.....imo it is MUCH better blended till smoooooth - sometimes I just like eating it like this without even freezing it
Also make sure that you only put it in the freezer for an hour or so or it gets too hard - otherwise let it sit out till it softens slightly
