You want zero carbs before sleep. Any blood sugar running through the body while it's at rest will deposit as body fat. Muscle Milk has carbs so do not use it prior to sleep.
ON Casein is by far the better option. Couple it with a little flaxseed oil or other EFA oil and you will give your body a slow release of aminos while you sleep, thus, slowing catabolism.

after gold cards? sorry, yes i am unaware
anyway... i guess a buck a day isn't too terrible...
that's for ON 100% casein? i dont mind taste too much really at all.
what's a good pre-bed meal?
1 scoop of ON casein
with peanut butter?
or is it just fats in general? in that case i'd probably do some olive oil
i should prob invest and see if costco has like flax seed in bulk... just put it in like random food for extra omega's

I've been having success with increasing recovery by using the Gold Standard Casein. 24g of protein, 4.8g of BCAA's, 5g of Glutamine and precursors, only 1g of sugar in a single scoop. Sounds pretty good to me. Has a weird consistency, but its drinkable.
