No, i was looking to do Lou Zwicks shows which are model orientated but its all on the back burner to my bodybuilding ambitions. There are alot of photographers who are willing to do TEST SHOOTs if you're in peak condition...free pics, they keep the rights to them. You can use them for your portfolio to help get you some fitness modeling gigs.

I had a buddy in the running, but he f'd up on the time frame rules and got way out of form
so I want to see who wins and not have to search for it.
We still have stickies for other comps that are over, when those winners are finalized, they will be unstickied
as will this one

You know it's funny what people do not realize, whether good publicity or not, everyone is checking on Jerome's bodyspace page, yes probably including Muscletech; and also bodybuilding.com that's why he is the amateur of the week, congrats by the way! Think about it, if someone who didnt have a decent physique be talked down this hard, I do not think so. Do I agree with Jerome talking about another's before or after pics, no. Jerome is my bro and yes he is a very prideful person (and you know it)- but for him to apologize would not be if it were not sincere. Winning a challenge or not, for as i stated earlier his pride and yes arrogant nature does get in the way if he did not mean it.
If it makes people feel so good to drop someone's rep power or have blogs about me because Jerome is my bro, feel free to do so (who really even cares), however, I probably won't respond anyhow or careless- not that I am claiming to have a better physique than this person or that.
shawny b congrats on ur pics, j dog congrats on your placing in the show.

This has nothing to do with his physique.

What I believe you're asking is "would someone who didn't have a physique like your brother's be criticized as harshly for similar behavior?"
I believe so.
If I would have called a woman rude names - especially with my incessant (annoying to some) posting - or accused my competitors of possible drug use then, yes, I believe I'd be swimming in red just like Jerome finds himself.
I'd guess you're right, however, that he's more than likely receiving some benefit from all the negative publicity. People probably are flocking to his BodySpace and his MySpace.
Will that translate to the grand prize in this contest? I don't know.
My opinion, fwiw, is that for MuscleTech to reward such behavior would be very surprising.
Jerome, you have a good brother. Hey, you're not going to wish everyone a happy hump day and tell us how great your week is going? Duh.

It's not so much his arrogant behavior that is making everyone mad it's his rude and distasteful comments he made towards people in this thread especially to WBL calling her pics soft core that was uncalled for.
He has an ego good for him I would probably have one too if I had his physique but that is not the issue his attitude towards others that is the issue at hand.

LOL, I'm in. I'm trying to clean bulk, adding mass while staying lean too. I'm up to 163 from around 158-159 when my "afters" were taken. I was pretty lazy and naughty during the start of summer, but now I'm back and dedicated.
Taken about a week ago with just a slightly higher bf%.

No.....not just that! He is a cry baby and has zero integrity and sportsmanship! Notice....how he called me everything in the book...and posted my emails.....and accused me of things.....yet I stood aside and held my anger in check. His truths were posted by another....but in his own words. Not accusations.....TRUTHS!
Who's he going to call out next....in his rage! Remember he said people don't change easily. Do you really think MuscleTech wants a tattle tale accusing everyone who gets in his way! I seriously doubt they want the backlash it would cause.
My favorite quote and one that I hope MuscleTech understands well is:
“Those who ignore history are condemned to repeat it”
For Jerome to call us all commoners and belittle us while we are making the hardest journey in our life to get better....well that’s just uncool! I am and did consider myself an average joe.....but now that I have completed one of the hardest things in my life....well now...I don't feel so average....I feel like I could complete anything I put my mind to. Good thing I don't think like Jerome.....or maybe I would have just quit!

Damn...you look bigger than 163! Like George Michals if he worked out/1 LOL LOL with those shades! LOL Kiddin
I was 179 today....and still very lean. Are you still doing cardio in your clean bulk up? No matter what...I wanna stay lean....except I'm spending at least a grand on new clothes...it really sucks!

The best thing you can do to search for competitions in just Google, or check the websites of organizations like NGA, NPC, OCB, INBF. I know that NGA and INBF require polygraphs, not sure about the others. You could probably do well at a NPC show, but as jerome and fitnfirm have admitted, there's a ton of juicers in the NPC and drug tests are not always required.
To get started, I'd say find a veteran, or check out a tutorial video here to learn about posing. There are 8 mandatory poses. No matter how great of shape you are in, if your posing is off, it will make your weak points stick out like a sore thumb. If 2 people have similar physiques, the better poser will win. Practice posing for hours and hours. When you committ to a show, time your gradual weight decrease for a certain amount of weeks as the show nears ex/ 8 weeks out, 4 weeks out etc. You can start water shedding protocal 1-2 weeks out through sodium manipulation, water intake, and carb manipulation. It sounds like you know about that though from the MuscleTech Blog.
