Talking I just fell off the bandwagon....oops lol

My other half has gone away and I had to stay home because of work.... I had the sads today and I just calculated I have eaten over 6000 calories lol oh my god!!!! It started up as my carb up with pancakes, bread and cereal but after luch I felt bad and started eating fat again for afternoon tea, then went nuts and just had a big carb/fat binge tonight. I'm so full it hurts, but you know what - comfort food is great and I feel better emotionally. My dessert was 1 litre of choc chip ice cream with 2 scones (jam and cream of course) and 2 banana muffins with butterscotch sauce and cream. I have never been scared of food and if I fall off the bandwagon, oh well, tomorrow is a new day. It's the only way to think. Just thought I'd share that with you all..... I surprise myself sometimes with how much food I can actually fit into my belly!

At least you have the right attitude. Although it wasnt the greatest idea, sometimes these things help you mentally and I guess it certainly tricked your vody.

Make sure you get back on it tomorrow and you'll soon be feeling great again. Awesome abs BTW

Great post and x 2 to what IronLoader said....

I fell off the bandwagon hard a week ago for a period of 24-36 hours myself....
Lots 'o'carbs (mostly clean but still...) and what I really noticed was how fast I got hungry again and actually how dragged out the total carb infusion made me feel...(ironically being dragged out is what I thought lack of carbs was supposed to do...)

Back in the groove now though... about to have me some hearty Johnsonville Brats brekkie sausage and scrambled eggs.....
and only Keto friendly bevvies (Vodka and water) while watching the fights tonight

Get back on the Keto horse, keep on riding and don't look back!

I agree with the other posters . . . not a big deal in the long run. I have broken through 2 plateaus since starting keto . . . both were after I threw in cheat days after being pretty strict for long stretches (40th b-day and a night out with some friends I hadn't seen in a couple years). So sometimes it's good just to give yourself a break.
